Taking it all in. 

I'm a single mom with 2 teenage boys, and a 5 year old little girl. They are my greatest and most joyful gifts -- even when I'm about to pull my hair out!  lol

I'm a computer programmer.  I love the challenge.  It's like solving puzzles all day.  When I need a break -- I enjoy listening to music, and painting in pastels or acrylics.  I also love a good book when I have the time.

I'm very liberal in my thinking but don't box myself in with any affiliation.  When I vote I vote for the person, not the party.  I refuse to have blinders on, and have been accused of wearing rose colored glasses.   

I am a feminist, not to be confused with man-hater.  I actually love men that don't try to stand in my way.  ;D

I love animals and nature.  I have 3 dogs and 2 cats which are very much like my children to me.  I grew up in Eastern NC and loved living near the river and ocean.

I think differences are a wonderful thing and help to make the world go round.  I will always consider what you say, but that doesn't mean I'll choose to think the same way, once I've digested it.  And I always try to digest it.

I do think I'm gonna limit my time in the political discussions.  There's just too much anger and negativity for me, personally.   If I'd wanted that kind of energy -- I would have stayed in my marriages. lol

I am very spiritual, but have gotten very disappointed in organized religion -- due to my own experiences.  If your experiences have helped you to love and enjoy it, then by all means -- enjoy.  But please leave me to wake up each morning, knowing each day is a gift, appreciating every breath I take, every moment I get with my children, animals, and loved ones.  Enjoying the wonder of this beautiful earth and all her beauty.  Being fasinated by all of the miracles that seem to happen almost everyday.  And doing my best to surround myself with positive energy.  Which most of the time -- thanks to all of the wonders of this life -- is quite easy!
