I am a recovering Libertarian. My more liberal friends think I'm pretty conservative and vice versa. I'll probably respect your opinion as long as it's the result of some independent thought and critical thinking and not just repeating what you've been told you believe by the powers-that-be. In that same vein, I believe that unwavering ignorance should be painful and cause sterility.

favorite movies: lotr, things that go boom, foreign films, jackass (i'm not proud of that but there it is.)
favorite hobbies: camping, cooking, gardening, kayaking, traveling, chilling with friends and family.

favorite restaurants: the kind that feed me when the wife and i are too pooped to cook.
