Television journalist who for more than a quarter of a century has been in the business of delivering the news. Currently coanchors the evening newscasts at WRAL TV. Passionate about singing, regularly performing at jazz and blues night clubs in the Triangle. Would love to join a band and produce beautiful music together. Active in the Triangle Girls on the Run Program and the Komen NC Triangle Race for the Cure. Daughter Ashley Marie is fully engaged in the Teach for America Program in Miami.

Just an FYI. When you were doing the story on the Best Beach in the US you didn't pronounce Caladesi correctly. The "e" and the "i" have a long "e" sound.
