I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. Good luck with the phenobarb. I choose the KBr because it's liquid and you just squirt it on their food, along with a few other reasons.

No problem. The question related to my field, as it happens, so I felt like some information would be of benefit to you. The most important thing I felt needed to be addressed was the resetting of expectations. You seemed impatient for a solution, which is entirely understandable, so I wanted you to understand the nature of the problem and set some more realistic expectations accordingly.
It can be a frustrating problem, but with patience and perseverance, the outlook is generally good for these cases. Just stick with it, keep communicating with your DVM, and hang in there. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and for your pet.
