Know your daughter will be happy to get rid of her braces.What kind of puppy did you get ? Sure it is interesting puppys like to get into things and explore.Hopefully your older dog will soon adjust to the new pupppy after he/she learns that it is a play mate for her/him.Guess older dog doesn't like new puppy coming in and taking all the attention away from him/her lol.Are you ready for Christmas ?

LOL,sounds like bringing home a new baby and the oldest child being jelious.Getting Flash fixed will calm him him down.We had ours fixed of course she is getting on up in age but she put on a lot of weight and looks like a bear.Once Max gets the idea that new puppy is not going any where that it is there to stay maybe she will start warming up to new pup.I lke the name of Flash,I can never come up with good names like that.

Hey,sorry that Max is not ajusting to Flash as quick as I'm sure you would like just going to take time.New kid on the block lol.Sounds like Flash has a lot of energy and glad to see you when you come home,jumping up on you is his way of saying glad you are hom.Think this is busy time for all of us at this time of year.Have all my Christmas shopping done except for one more gift for my daughter if you remember the one that left home about six months ago.Don't know what to get her you don't have any sugestions do you ? My weekend was good and glad that yours was,hope you can get some rest for the next few days but if any thing like mine will be doing a lot of cooking.Having friends coming and they will be leaving for home before Christmas.Hope you are having a nice day.Raining here now.

yeah I keep up like you too, I have seen them play much better..they have to step it up the next few weeks if they want any part of winning a playoff game...you know this lol but at any rate they won and its a step in the right direction!

My daughter is having a rough time being out on her own and has her own apartment,all she does is go to school and work.She want admitt to how hard it is on her,we are not helping her just letting her see what the real world is all about and how easy it was for her and the sacfices we did for her before she left.She is still with that same boy that is one of the main reasons we will not help her,he is not working and she is having to keep him up as well as his mother keeping him up.At least he is not living with her,his mother want let him lol.Sounds like you have a busy week with all those partys.Glad you have food and not have to be so busy with cooking. How about your son,how is he doing ?

I wouuld like to be out side also but have so much to do inside to day.Doing work in the house such as cleaning out my closet and getting rid of stuff that I don't need or wear.You know that kind of stuff you stick back and say I may wear that and never do lol. You are a special person to me.

I totally understand. My 17 year old just got her first part-time job in a tax office. Well, just keep it in mind for when you have the time. :)

Best of luck w/ Max and Flash. With lots of patience and love I do feel it will work out. It may be hard for a while but if you want it to work it will. Time....Patience.....and always let Max know he's the alpha dog-food first, in/out first, treats first, etc plus lots of love.

I sure do hope you luck. I have seen that behavior corrected in dogs on tv but It's not the same when we're trying to do it. That was why I could only have my lab around me becasue I ruined her spoiling her to being like a human.

Hey,just thinking about you and your dog.Was so sorry that things happened like it did between the two.Most older dogs on't like being bothered by a yonger dog and being there with you all this time is hard for her to adjust to a yonger dog that wants to play. My dog baby that passed away a few weeks ago would not even go to my sons house with my husband as she woul d follower him a cross the road to my sons when his daughter came hom with her lab oh !no she would not go she did not like this dog of being much younger than her and wanted to play.I hope you do not have to give up either one of these dogs and that you can work it out.Know this is a hard decession to make.Will be keeping you in my prayers.Please keep me posted onn what you decide to do.Love you frined.God bless you.

Hey,I thank things can work out between Max and flash if you just let Max know you are not going to accept his behavior and that he is going have to get use to having flash around that he is not going any where.If you keep scolding him he will proably go some where away from flas and tay away from him for a while untiil he gets use to him being there.I'm praying this works out for all.How are you doing with the infection on your face.? and how is your mother doing ? know that you are probly spending s much time with her as much as you can.I'm keeping you both in my prayers.You have had so much going on in your life this past year and now things not going good.Just remember God brought you here and he will see you through it.Wshing you a good night and Sunday as well.Love you and God bless you.Smile God loves you and so do I

How are things with the pups? I have a Basset who gets kinda mean to my Lab. But no blood shed. I know, that is aterrible feeling. As my Lab's mother, I felt like I was not doing my job of protecting her when the Rottie went after her. But then, I loved the Rottie. Ah, the children.

good luck with it and please do keep us updated. I know how it is when your pets are like your family. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and sometimes it's not easy to introduce a new "family" member. We've also had 2 litters of puppies. Now THAT was an experience. 11 puppies then 9 puppies. Let me tell you, our cat was NOT happy, the mom was overworked, and our male golden was in 7th heaven. The first day after birth the mom about took the males head off. After that, the male pretty much adopted the puppies, he herded them everywhere. Our last addition was a grey tabby that marched in and quickly established (with some bloodshed) exactly WHO was boss of this house and it was none of the previous occupants. It was all 3 pounds of Her. She will go and sit in the dogs food bowl and they don't eat until she lets 'em. It's a riot around here.

Sounds like the pups will be OK. Just be careful for a while. If it happens again, try to remember if there was something that triggered the behavior. Y&R group. Duke had it, decided to leave golo for a while, and had me run it. Well, I have no idea how to run the group, and no one else seemed to want to. I work, and don't get to see the show all the time, and just don't get into doing research for the tidbits about it. Do you watch it? I saw part of it today. Abby is now 14. My, how they grow. Take care.

I haven't posted any blogs because just before Christmas she joined GOLO and although she isn't on much, she is on and, while we have an open relationship when it comes to her son, I wasn't sure she would appreciate blogs about him, so I've not put up any.

However, he is doing GREAT since the first of December. The progress has been nothing short of amazing. It was like someone flipped a switch. He has a vocabulary now of about a dozen words, the all day tantrums seems to be a thing of the past, he is cooperative, sleeping well, eating well, not throwing toys, he is such a joy. He always was special to me since I've known him since birth and to see how far he had come was a miracle but to see him grow and learn and develop. Today is his 2nd birthday and to see him resembling a normal 2 yr old when 2 yrs ago today they didn't think he'd live, it's a miracle. I just may do a blog!

I did one for his birthday though. If she comes on, she'll be ok with that one. I wouldn't want to do anything to make her feel badly. She's a great mom, just so very young and overwhelmed, at times

He,as ad as it was yesterdaysorry you had to be out in all that traffic,my understanding there where quiet a few accidents,just glad you made it here safe and back.Hope your husband surgery went well.Will keep him in my prayers.We still have a lot of snow that is slowly melting,guess all of that will freeze to night.Not having a lot of traffic by here either,guess every one decidided to take the main roads being back roads are not clear.Take care of your hubby and stay safe and warm.

Good Morning,wonderful news about your husband eye surgery,so glad it worked good for him.Yes my daughter is sick,she has pheumonia.She is pretty sick even though she was not admitted in to the hospital.She was pretty sick last night hae not talked to her this morning just letting her sleep and get some rest will be checking on her befor long though.Hope you are having a good day.
