Noah's Ark
Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark.
- ONE: Don't miss the boat.
- TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat!
- THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
- FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
- FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
- SIX: Build your future on high ground.
- SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
- EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
- NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile.
- TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
- ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.

to honor another young fallen hero. I also have a friend here on GOLO who is involved with "Blue Star Moms".
There is a recent movement, to honor our servicemen & women, and the reason I'd like his name, is so I can follow up to find out when his remains are being returned. There is also a group called "Patriot Guard Riders" who escort the hearse & family. It's very touching to see all the Americans lining the roadways with flags and veterans saluting our heros.
If you can't tell me his name right now, I understand...but I'd like to request that if you can give his name a little later on, please let me know.
I'd like to be one of the ones honoring this young man. I'm in Durham, so this one is close enough for me be there.
thanks, Bart

Also, did the Chapter President of Blue Star Moms up your way contact you? She told me she had seen your posting on here. We have some things we like to present to the mothers of the Fallen. Let me know if you've heard from her (Patti) or not. We typically meet privately with the family, oftentimes right before the standard visitation. We want to honor and support the mothers of our Fallen Heroes. That is part of our charter, and we take it very seriously.
