I knows my Firefly, and it's ALL SHINY!

Hey :) Thanks for the sushi tip! I will check it out :)

Holy cow! (No pun to the rickets comment) I forgot all about making that confession.

"That's a shame, as anyone with a monicker like that must be a righteous cat. You'll be missed, boss. ... Dibs on the name! ; p " EdTeach

I'm not ready to retire the name yet. I would hate to disappoint my fans. ;)

I think thay name is up for grabs now...Imyourhuckleberry that is!

Not familiar with the first, as for the second I've not tried. I've had Buffalo and Ostrich, kinda gamie...have you tried it?

Really? Might have to try me some! ;)

Many thanks,

At one time, long ago and far, far away, the name wasn’t totally underserved.

I lived aboard a 43’ Alden gaff-rigged sailboat; I spend so much time aground that I started referring to it as being “keel anchored”.

About the sinner part, the less said, the better ....

Thanks Edteach for those wonderfully kind words. You made me tear up some when I read your comment. Funny I didn't tear up when I was typing the whole thing.

I try not to let people like that get to me and dismissing them usually upsets them more than anything else. Those are the moments I live for in situations like that.

My grandmother was a wonderful woman who knew some of the famous people in Atlanta, Gladys Knight (mom baby sat her and her brother), Martin Luther King (mom went to the same college. We all loved her dearly even when she was hard to deal with. I hate that she left us that way.

Again thanks for the wonderful thoughts. Are you from the Beaufort area by chance? I used to live on Emerald Isle and was born at Camp LeJeune.

Thanks for the compliment on the photo gallery. Yes, grandmother was a beautiful woman. She looked like a black version of the actress Jo Van Fleet w/ reddish hair and light skin.

Her smile could dazzle everyone she came across. When she moved in w/ us in the Jacksonville area she charmed her way into the white United Methodist Church. She was the first black person to go there. J'ville was very racially divided when it came to the churches. They loved her and always came by when they knew she wasn't feeling well. Even though she was mentally ill they always were concerned about her and were heart broken when she died.

I love the area you're from, in fact I love this state. It's beautiful from the mountains to the sea. Glad to hear that google is settling there. That'll be nice.

Again, thanks for the kind words before. Enjoy the weekend!!
