Nope - not since Fox first took office as President. The age is now - by federal mandate, although it's not as absolute as ours are - 18 for both males and females. Enforcement does vary, however. Mexico City and other urban centers hold to 18 as the age for marriage without parental consent. The more rural areas where the indiginous people still use village and tribal rules, tend to permit marriage at 14, and almost never is one performed without familial (not parental) consent - even for 40 year olds.
