What they should do is fine the heck out of the people that they catch interacting with the baboons. Chances are if you don't slow down to look at them or get out to take a picture they wouldn't hop in...

I'd recommend calling your vet and seeing if they will work out a payment plan for you. Most vets will try to work with you on stuff like this if you are an established client.
