Hey guys/gals. This is just an FYI. I am going through my friends list. I'm going to be pretty ruthless about it as I am going to be switching to friends only soon.
Don't take it the wrong way if I remove you. In the past, I've typically accepted all friends requests. However, this means that if I want to post things friends only it is pretty much pointless as I have all kinds of folks on my list.
I'm going to go through my friends list and remove anyone that I haven't spoken with recently or who I really don't have that much in common with. There are a group of folks on here that love the drama and go poking around other people's profiles looking for it. And truthfully, if I think that your friends are crazy or one of the drama hounds, I'm probably going to remove you unless we are really tight.
As I said, it isn't personal so much as I am tired of all the cattiness in here and am going to restrict my GOLO profile and feel this is a good way to do it.

It is alot to get through. As I was watching it my interest in it went up and down. In the early-middle seasons is probably when I enjoyed it the most. Towards the end there was a time again when they started introducing a new enemy where it picked up again, but they should have ended it sooner, IMO.
I just can't quit once I start. In the last year+ I've watched all of both stargates, buffy, angel, firefly (like 3 times), battlestar galactica, babylon 5, Star Trek:TOS, TNG, and now DS9.
I'm surprised my girlfriend hasn't broken my dvd player, computer, and tv. LOL. At least I try to watch them in the 1.5 hours between when I get home from work and she does and on saturday and sunday mornings when I get up 3-4 hours before her.

I'm looking forward to the SG Universe show too. Also Caprica, although I'm a little worried b/c I don't see how a sequel (although I guess it's a prequel) could live up to BSG. I saw the trailer/movie and I'm not sure what to think yet.

See, that to me is so very foreign. I am not sure how you can do that. It's just alien.
I can understand you not wanting to use animal products and eat meat. Even if it's not a religious thing. And I respect that.
However, if the law allows cattle and pigs to be slaughtered a certain way, and wild animals to be hunted, then it is inconsistent to prosecute people for animal cruelty (this case notwithstanding)for doing the same thing to a dog, cat or gerbil.
I understand you oppose the whole thing, but from a logical standpoint as it relates to the law, it's a double standard.
That's my objection.

Good morning my golo family. {{{{hugs}}}}. I am off next week and want to see if anyone wants to meet in Cary for lunch. As far as I am concerned bring kids, we can eat cheap or not. I just want to meet some of you face to face. I like all kinds of food. People start making suggestions.May I enlist the aid of anyone who's done this before? We could even picnic somewhere. ?What do you think? List two days you could come and two places to suggest and let's see what happens!!!Someone reminded me ,somwe people may be going off for the weekend,so Friday may not be good.

I have NO tolerance for ruthless and heartless fools like that along with those that IF a blog was done to make stupid comments about it.

When I had my 2nd Golo benefit for a Disabled Vietnam War Veteran and his dogs, it was a HUGE turnout!!!!!!!!!!
AND I also picked up a few moronic trolls bashing me for helping a man that rescues homeless dogs instead of helping starving children.
Ugh, the children have parents, homeless dogs dont!
Ok, I can go on and on about how I feel but I wont, you know where I am coming from :)

Girl! I think those comments need to be carved in stone and posted for everyone to read as they enter golo each and everyday. All of the puppy blogs are killing me -- I so badly want another dog. However, hubby has decided that he wants to wait a year before we get another one. I'm not certain why he is suddenly against a dog, but I hope that he changes his mind soon.
