Hey guys/gals. This is just an FYI. I am going through my friends list. I'm going to be pretty ruthless about it as I am going to be switching to friends only soon.
Don't take it the wrong way if I remove you. In the past, I've typically accepted all friends requests. However, this means that if I want to post things friends only it is pretty much pointless as I have all kinds of folks on my list.
I'm going to go through my friends list and remove anyone that I haven't spoken with recently or who I really don't have that much in common with. There are a group of folks on here that love the drama and go poking around other people's profiles looking for it. And truthfully, if I think that your friends are crazy or one of the drama hounds, I'm probably going to remove you unless we are really tight.
As I said, it isn't personal so much as I am tired of all the cattiness in here and am going to restrict my GOLO profile and feel this is a good way to do it.

I've been on hiatus (not voluntary either)...
Nip/Tuck is one of the shows I miss now that I don't have a dish anymore.

I guess you're checking out some the other pages. I just sent you to the covers page. This sort of site lets me keep up with musical things in my taste range - don't get to buy much music or go to shows much amymore.
The economy has been in a high state of suck for me for almost 2 years - not seeing any real change on the horizon either. I've been doing some consulting work from my home but that's coming to a "grinding halt" if I may quote The Cure.
I may be going back to school this fall if I can get things worked out. Don't really want to but my girls come first so I might do the 'career change' that's in vogue now of days.
Don't want to be the old guy that doesn't know about the 'cool stuff'...
Anywho, enjoy the site and I'll "catch ya on the flip side".

Our 7 (yes seven!), 4 of which are Siamese are fairly well food-regulated. One of them, one of the ‘strays’ that found the “X” on our door, is a tuxedo-cat that has turned into a monster-sized cat.
When we first got him, we noticed that he seemed to have a very long tail. Turns out that he was chipped, so we got in touch with his real owners. They no longer wanted him – he didn’t get along with other members of their family – and so he became ours. His real name is Franklin.
He’s grown into his tail; he weighs 24.7 pounds. Not an ounce of fat – just a very large kitty. His feet are immense; and, he seems to still be growing. We call him "Orca" for a lot of obvious reasons – especially the color pattern ....
I’m glad that they don’t have major eating issues. It would be more than my life is worth to try to deprive the big Orca from his food ....

CARE is the foster group in our area. That's where we adopted the last cat from. If I can get hubby to the shelter, he'll cave in a heartbeat.
Before I met him, he had two Pomeranians --Sugar and Honey. (isn't that sweet/sickening? I spotted a chihuahua online that needs a home but the poor thing is scared of cats. I've never personally owned a small dog before, but I'm considering one this time. :-)

sigh...I have at least two unfinished projects (both painting) I must finish before I can wrap my brain around this! I will only allow for one "artsy" task at a time. I cannot do them all at once. Well, if the kids were grown and gone, maybe....but I doubt it!
I can't wait to try it out, though. I have tried numerous times over the years, but not since the internet has become so helpful...maybe this time...just maybe!

And O M G I just gave away a spare microwave I've had - that was brand new - still in the box. got it for my daughter's appt at college -that she decided NOT to go to college ... and we were stuck with a dorm frig, microwave, sheets, etc!
