I remember a time when my wife and I were first married, almost 16 yr ago. We were walking through a mall and I reached over and patted her on the bottom.
When she turned and looked at me I discovered that it was not my wife. It was some other lady.
I think the look of complete horror on my face was the only thing that saved me from a beating (by her) that day.
We still laugh about that one.

Pike, I understand that not every blog is going to appeal to everyone on this site - having said that, why do you continue to go in and read these blogs since you obviously take such a negative view of them?
If you don't like these blogs, the solution is so simple - don't read them. We're not misleading people with our missing child blogs; our blog headers say it all - missing child, endangered runaway, etc.
This is one of the best uses for a place like GOLO, and we're trying to help others with these blogs. Again, if you don't like these blogs, don't read them, but you certainly do not need to kick a blog owner in the face for his/her efforts to help others.

That's all well and good, your distain for the missing child blogs is so noted; but why is it necessary to make negative comments? If you don't enjoy a blog, couldn't care less about the content, and or have no interest in helping others, why bother gracing that blog? How does that help anyone?
No one is being hurt by the missing child blogs and with any luck, they may actually help someone to get home.
Someone made the statement several weeks ago when a goloer got happy on the abuse button and several people got the boot, that if you don't like a blog, ignore it.
