I am a retired school administrator. I obtained my doctorate in school administration from Virginia Tech in 94. Blood, sweat, tears, and divorce. But, it was worth it all. GO HOKIES!
I truly believe that if we had more love in this world; then, we could do great things for all people. I have read books and articles about most of the greatest philosophers of all-time during my college and university days. I still read about them today. These philosophers, and their thoughts have something to say about love, living, forgiving, health, wealth, friendship, nurturing, sin, and how this world will live and die.
The stuff that they have written is so true today. Just look at the state our our Country and the World today; my friends.
There are too many people today that spend too much time concentrating on materialistic things. We are trying to have too much without teaching values of the younger generation.
Just work on trying to have better health and more friends. If you have a child; then raise the child. Don't expect somone else or the schools to do your job.
It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their rear when necessary, and learn to say NO!!!!
I'm a music lover. Music makes me feel good, sad, and it brings me to the past and sometimes makes me humble. It affects my mood. It makes me remember people in my life; both past and present. Music is the greatest language of the world.
VOTE. If you don't vote, then you have no right to criticize anything pertaining to the democratic process.

Margaritas 12 oz frozen lime aid concentrate 12 oz 7-up ( no diet and no sprite) 12 oz bottle Corona 6-12 oz of tequila ( I guess the amount would depend on your tolerance for alcohol. My personal favorite is Patron. Love me some Cuervo too.) lime slices (optional) Mix well, DO NOT put it in a blender...it might explode, actualy it will explode...been there, done that ! refrigerate, serve over ice...Yummy !

Our weekend will consist of doing the punchlist from the Inspections office at our house we're building. Nothing too bad, thank goodness! I sure hope this smoke clears up by then. *cough* It makes me feel bad for those folks who live closer to the wild fires!

Thank you for the compliment on the house. We are very proud of what we've been able to do. Looking back, I think we were a tad impulsive, but nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say!
Hope you have a wonderful July 4th! We're looking to take some days off and spend them at Lake Gaston. Ahh.. no phones, no tv, just swimming, fishing, skiing and napping in the hammock under the tree! Can't get much better than that!
