I am a retired school administrator. I obtained my doctorate in school administration from Virginia Tech in 94. Blood, sweat, tears, and divorce. But, it was worth it all. GO HOKIES!
I truly believe that if we had more love in this world; then, we could do great things for all people. I have read books and articles about most of the greatest philosophers of all-time during my college and university days. I still read about them today. These philosophers, and their thoughts have something to say about love, living, forgiving, health, wealth, friendship, nurturing, sin, and how this world will live and die.
The stuff that they have written is so true today. Just look at the state our our Country and the World today; my friends.
There are too many people today that spend too much time concentrating on materialistic things. We are trying to have too much without teaching values of the younger generation.
Just work on trying to have better health and more friends. If you have a child; then raise the child. Don't expect somone else or the schools to do your job.
It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their rear when necessary, and learn to say NO!!!!
I'm a music lover. Music makes me feel good, sad, and it brings me to the past and sometimes makes me humble. It affects my mood. It makes me remember people in my life; both past and present. Music is the greatest language of the world.
VOTE. If you don't vote, then you have no right to criticize anything pertaining to the democratic process.

You must be so happy to see how Dustin Ackley is doing. I'm very nervous. IF we win tonight, we have to play Texas - twice. I so wanted these kids to win it all; not as a fan, but for this special group of guys and Coach Fox. This seems to be a very close group, and as much as some have very bright futures in the Pros what better way to leave college than with a NC. Oh well. If it is meant to be, it will be. They want to add these leisure taxes. They want to consider taxking our ELECTRIC bills, they want to try to eventually start charing us a "per mile tax" we drive! I can't even think of the rest and trust me, I know all about venting! LOL! Venting is good.
Oh, and the kicker is this: The Country is already in a recession (I'm not a know-it-all), but this is what I've heard of TV for a long time now, and yet the idiots want to tax us MORE!? OMG! What a joke. Let them add all those stupid taxes and then when the Country goes into a 1930's DEPRESSION, then maybe, maybe they'll wake up. Naw, that would never happen to the Government! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
