Morning Patsy: Had a busy wekend...picked figs on Saturday (after getting up and driving 3-1/2 hours to Albany)and the put up figs Sunday and Monday. Wound up with 16 pts of regular fig preserves and 36 pts of strawberry fig preserves! Don't want to see any more figs for a while!!!! I am still getting tomatoes and cukes from my plants...and I am trying to think what I can plant for fall. I must like to make work for myself, huh? Did you have a good weekend? Hope all is well in your world. Much love to my sweet friend.

Special *HUGS* Gods!!! Sound like you need some extra!!! My day is going HOT!!! It is hotter then all get out out there. The boys were playing in the pool and I was busy doing things in the garden as usual...tons and tons of beans, tomatoes, and even an acorn squash ready for picking...can not wait to eat that for sure. Something must have run through 2 stalks of corn because they were broken...got that taken care of. I think there is a secret to good corn stalks but I have yet to find it *LOL* If you need to Please send an E mail...I will keep it private as always Sweetie...I know nothing!!!

Hi Patsy! That picture on my profile page is Jackson, my friend Sam's young male Redbone. Jackson was the pick of his litter, but the folk decided they didn't want him when he was almost a year old. So Sam bought him back and has been trianing with him. He was originally for sale, but has turned out to be such a great hunter, Sam is having big time second thoughts about selling him now. Jackson isn't related to Magic or Savannah, but he sure is a handsome fellwo, isn't he? And I just love that smile. He was out hunting with Sam and Magic's Mom, Poppy when that picture was made. And right after that picture was made, a nest of Yellow Jackets started chasing them! So Sam calls it Jackson's yellow jacket picture. I'm glad you like it. I hope you're having a good day! It was so nice and cool last night after all that rain, me and the girls slept like babies. Hope you enjoyed it too!! Talk soon (((((HUGS)))))

I was above ground, so it was a good day. I love string beans.

In the mountains, they have a string bean called greasy half runners. If you ever see that anywhere, BUY IT. it is the string bean to die for!! Niters sweet lady

I can't believe how sweet and thoughtful you are. Here you are as busy as can be and remembering me and my plants. I lost just a few, but most of them are doing really well. I see a new bloom almost every day. I just love this time of year!!

Hello Patsy. My gal just went to her humble home. I did the grill with a filet, shrimp, roasted vegestables, a cream sauce, one wine, and ......shamala lama. Taught her a few shag steps. Turn up the Beach Music. Hope that you have a great weekend.

YEAH we made some home made Jam today!!! It was a lot easier then I feared *LOL* We are getting this canning stuff down. To funny watching them all stick their fingers in the pot licking it out *LOL* Then the biggest (Scott) grabs the bread and peanut butter...Geez!!! Can't wait 24 hours in this house *LOL*

UGH posted the comment to you on my profile *LOL* I just was such in a hurry to get those puppies picture up so we can get them to a rescue or a home before having to hand them over to the Shelter...it would break my heart to do it BUT we really can't keep them because we have 4 dogs...

Hi, Patsy...Sorry I've been offline a lot lately. Been busier than a one armed paper hanger during peak season. Between the day job, photo job, housework, taxi service, cooking, shopping, etc. I'm having a hard time staying caught up. I'm behind on Sunday's photo shoot, but have to be at the day job 8 hours a day if I want to keep the roof over our heads. :) Hubby is on the mend; going a little stir crazy, but still not able to do a lot. A quick trip to the store wears him out. Just wanted to say hi, and hope you're doing well.

Morning Patsy! Had a busy weekend...no canning this weekend, but lots of work on the plants. We have had some hideous rain in the last 2 weeks. Dropped 4 inches in about 3 hours yesterday and I am looking for Noah's Ark to float by!!! LOL Ground is so saturated I just don't know how much more it can stand...we have had cars, houses and roads flooding in Savannah but so far (we live in Rincon - just outside)none in my neighborhood. How was your weekend? How is your family doing? Incidentally, I have not heard from Ernie in a week...very unusual. Have you heard from him? Hope all is well with him and the family, so if you hear....let him know I have called and messaged him. Gotta run...work to do!
