Hi Patsy! I had a pretty good day. Hope you did. I am loving the cooler weather and can't wait for the temps to drop more! I like setting the heat on 66 or 67, at night, and then getting under warm covers! During the day, when Don and I are at work (if necessary), I will turn the heat to 70, but that's only because we have Parakeets and they need to be kept a little warm. Their names are: Jack & Jill (that's the mama and daddy), Grace, Rambo, and Lemon Drop. :-)

Oh no! That's a shame about Charlie! I have heard that Parakeets have a very sensitive respiratory system and you're right, we need to make sure they stay fairly warm. I hope the power never goes off here in the dead of Winter!

just enjoying the day and all the Lord has given me. been out paying bills & etc. My middle child (who's deaf) is going in for rehab to break the addiction to a pain medicine that he takes for his lower back pain. Its been going too long & he has to be the one to want this. So , praying for complete freedom from the hold this has on him . Just giving God the glory for all He has done. {{hugs}}

Patsy! Good evening (and I mean GOOD), my friend. I've gotten the next 2 days off of work to hang out with Chris. Today at work was challenging, but no harm no foul.

I told Chris how you were SO there for me when Mattie left last year. I hope that the two of you will keep in touch. I told him that you are a golo jewel. :)

I am sitting here in the studio waiting for him to come out in uniform so I can take his portraits and feeling like the luckiest mom in the world! :)

Sweet Patsy: Good day, my friend. I have just gotten free of my hubby (he has been one worry wart!) so his idea of taking care of me is...stay on the sofa....stay on the bed...and I am sooooo tired of the sofa and the bed. Surgery went well...ran long and a little more complicated than anticipated but I am beginning to recover. I go on Monday to have the stitches and staples (yep, I got both!)taken out. I hope he will let me go back to work on Tuesday as I am going stir crazy! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, my dear friend. I miss our conversations and all your encouragement. How ae you....and your mom??? You both are in my prayers each day. So....I am back and I will stay in touch...I promise. Much love!

Hey Ms Lady. Me and the girls are doing fine. Let;s see, the girls' little bed of Johnny-jump-ups is very bicem and I did make pictures, I will have them soon. I'm working as many hours as I can, and I even signed up for more during Thanksgiving, since I can't go home anyway. We are doing fine, and in fact, I'm getting into sunflowers in our room to make it more cheerful. We are fine. I will have new pictures soon. ((((((((((HUGS))))))))))

Hi sweet Patsy: Oh yes...I am up and about. Have a little temp today and doc in on alert if it goes any hihger. I have no clue what has brough it on, but am monitoring it. I am sure all will be well. I am so happy to be able to chat with you again. You are one of my anchors (you and Ernie!)and I have so missed talking with you. Have they prescribed anything for your mom? My momma had to take a few things because she was subject to TIA's and most of the time....until the alzheimers jumped on her...led a very normal life. Good early morning! I finished the roll of film today and took it to be processed. Unfortunately, the machine was broken, so I will have to wait until, hopefully, tomorrow. I hope tomorrow so I can email some new pix out. You will be so tickled! I got some really good ones. I'm trying to get a nice picture to make into a set of Christmas cards, like last year. (((Patsy))) I'm having an ok weekend. Jody and the family are in the mountains this weekend so I have the house to myself (kinda lonely, lol) I'm taking care of all the animals and cleaning up some. I went out and saw a really good band last night. Spunky and I were going to spend some time together this weekend but she's not feeling well, please pray for her

Hi, Patsy! What a beautiful day. I just went with my first walk with Alli around Apex Lake. I was so proud of her she did so well (walked almost the whole way at 3 1/2 months) and now is sleeping peacefully beside me on the couch. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Good afternoon! Suprise suprise, finally me at a decent hour! We are having a lazy day today, just hanging out together. The girls have been playing out in their yard some. Savannah likes to go out and lie beside her doghouse in the sun after she eats. About lunchtime Magic was lying on the foot of the bed chewing a bone and I was just sitting there on the side of the bed watching Savannah. Savannah came in and hopped her front feet in my lap to get a pet. Then she decided it would be a good idea to sit in my lap for awhile, since she's such a tiny puppy, after all, LOL. It's a good thing I was on the bed because there is a lot more Savannah than lap, but she did enjoy being held and cuddled for awhile. I don't know how she came to be so spoiled, LOL. I called about the pictures, but the machine is still down. Maybe tomorrow. I'm off Monday unlass I get called in, so maybe I can post them then. See ya later! ((((HUGS))))

Sweet Sunday morning to you Patsy! The temp has gone away of its own accord and so has the pains. Dr. said pain most likely was residual from all the pushing and pulling to put the stomach back where it should be. No idea what the temp was all about, but it has been gone for 24 hours. Thank you for those mighty prayers you have sent heavenward! I for one am a tremendous believer in the power of prayer. So your Mom is 88....that's a grand age. If you have not already done so...sit with her and write "her memories" in a book/journal form. You will be stunned at the weatlth of information locked up in that sweet mind! My momma worked for Glenn L Martin during the war and was a "Rosie the Riveter"! Some of those memories are priceless. They were pre-me....but so very amazing. Well darling....you have a blessed and restful Lord's day. I will chat later. May the Lord make His face to shine upon thee...and give you rest. Much love!

My day has gone great. The boys have helped me around the house. My oldest is sweeping the living room right now. They love mopping and it needs it. I think he wants to mop. :)
