Patsy, I am so sorry to learn that your mom had a stroke, it brought me to tears. If there is anything I can do, I am here for you. I will send you my cell number in an email, and will be praying for her. How bad is the stroke, and what was affected? Did she have the stroke at home? Send me an email if you get a chance. You can always check out the stroke.org and americanheart.org websites. I found them very helpful.

Grandma's doing well. She looked the best this weekend I've seen her look in a long time. Today makes 7 weeks, and it's still so hard for her. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, and I'll keep your family in mine, too. I hope you have a great Wednesday!

I'm glad they were able to move her to rehab. Moving her, I'm sure, took a lot out of her. I hate to hear about her pain. That may get worse before it gets better. I'll keep you all in my prayers. Please keep us updated, when you can.

Good morning and thank you! I am feeling better. I'm starting to get my appetite back, which I don't know if that's such a good thing...lol. I can deal with the pain, it's the itching that's driving me nuts. The dr. gave me an anti-viral medication and I'm just taking tylenol for the pain. It takes the edge off.

That is good news for your mother but therapy is hard work. My husband was in therapy for 3 weeks and then when he came home, we had a therapist come to the house 3 times a week for 2 months. It helped a lot. I wish you the best of luck and will continue praying for you and your mother {{{hugs}}}

Hey, Patsy! Thanks for keeping me and my family in your prayers. It has been a difficult year. I will come out of this a stronger person. I'm keeping the faith and hoping that this may be a blessing in disguise. However, losing 4 of the babies doesn't make it a blessing. Losing them is the worst of all the situation. Take care and be good to yourself. Friends forever and a day!!

Good Morning Gods!!! How is your Saturday going??? Looks a bit like rain here as well. My football game is at 12 today so going to watch that and then head to meet a few GOLOers!!! I have met a couple of them before so looking forward to a couple new faces. Then get home in time to watch the 8 PM game with Florida and LSU. I do need to get in Matthew's room this weekend and do some getting rid of some of his clothes...to many to small. Did you get your Mom all moved and settled??? How is she doing??? Thanks for the prayers. They helped so much. The only pain I have is from the all the air they pumped into me. It settled in my right arm. Now that was some painful stuff.

Only slight pain in the arm/neck area today. I am beginning to think it was not the gas afterall. I think they must have put my arm in a bad position during surgery. But it is much better today. The only thing I am taking for pain is advil. Hope things are getting better for you and your mom.

Good Morning Gods *HUGS* I am glad to hear your Mom is getting stronger and more alert!!! I tell you some are hard to hold down Huh??? My Grandpa had 4...2 minors and 2 major strokes...he kept on going. Plus he had Polio since he was 5 years old. He did not think he would live to see his Children grow up...he lived to see his Great-Grandchildren. Hope you are enjoying your Sunday!!! Love You Sweetie!!!

Praying your weekend is going well , too. I seemed to be staying busy , as I'm not 'living' on the computer as I first did. Our ladies are getting together a little more and that is fun. Just read that your mother is doing better. Will continue to pray for her. My friend from church had a possible T.I.A this weekend. The numbness is going away and she seems to be feeling normal again . We should never take our health for granted. and, yes -- I can feel the allergies coming on --aagh! Take care -- {{{ hugs }}}

Feeling great right now. Was up late last night. Couldn't sleep cause of some meds I took but LOL I am cleaned out now. Woke up with a bit of a headache but 2 advil have taken care of that. Now just trying to get the cobwebs out so that I can take an online test. Not looking forward to it. I don't think my mind is right yet from the anesthesia. No telling what my answers will be on that test. LOL

Sorry that your morning did not go well yesterday. I hope today is a better day for you. Praying daily for your strength and your moms recovery. I am feeling ok. Didn't sleep much last night although I went to bed early. I was so tired. But just kept waking up. I think I have been sleeping too much lately. I am getting rest confused with sleep. LOL but I am getting better everyday. No real pain at all.
