That's cool. I've always been at Bunn.

Don't have any complaints today.Have had a pretty good one. This heat is enough to make any one sleepy.I have days like that.Have youever sit back in your recliner whatching a movie and get s sleepy you ca not hold your eye's open?Go to bed and be wide awake.Get up and go sleep in the recliner lol.Take care in this heat i know how much you like being out doors.

Well Thank You! I do think Rick is a very nice person. But I wasn't so much defending him as I was pizzed about the use of retarded and autistic people just to annoy someone.

And Thank You for the friend request!

Small world :D

You are so insightful...

I enjoy reading your posts! (Especially the ones on Tmedlin's latest blog!)

in case you didn't see it on my blog - meh, I will try to make sure people know exactly who I'm addressing, in the future. Sometimes I get interrupted with phone calls or distracted by something going on in another window and there's a delay, which can lead to hard feelings, where it shouldn't. my apologies

Barbies! Good grief... I guess they know it's the parent's job to open the boxes. But I gotta say, I can't remember what it was, but instead of having those twist-ties holding it to the box, it was physically SCREWED to the box with at least 10 screws. And, of course, I didn't have a screwdriver small enough to get them out, so I had to make a special trip to the store just to get a smaller set of screwdrivers.

just read your post from last nite on that insufferable blog with that insufferable arguement that continues today. I debated posting that the writer was probably impotent, drove a big, shiny truck, and I would never want to cut him off on the interstate, but that would have been adding fuel to his fire.

I have always enjoyed your comments--just wanted to let you know.

thanks for the add--

I love a good arguement as much as the next person, if it is logical and somewhat constructive, and allows for the give and take necessary to approach a "meeting of the minds."

unfortunately, we have gotten to the point where that is nearly impossible--we won't allow for the possibility that compromise is an option.

sorta like the meds I take for chronic pain--they work wonders, but they also have an adverse affect on my GI system. the inability to compromise has had the same affect on Congress, and our country as a whole, that the meds have on me---completely stopped and nothing moves or gets accomplished.

sticking to your guns is admirable, until is becomes counterproductive and begins to work against you. unfortunately, we have gotten to the point that we look for ways to be contrary, just to make a point, to the detriment of our own interests.

so, Congress gets a raise, and we get no energy bill, because we have to "stick to our principles."

Or maybe they add so many packaging features to jack up the prices through labor, assembly, and materials. After all, when I was a little kid, I would chew the feet off of my sister's Barbies!

Good Morning, hope you are feeling fine and dandy this morning.Wishing you a good weekend.

So you knew that blog was mine...am I getting too predictably boring? Have a great Sunday, jack.

Thanks for he comment. I agree, some kids may need little or no corpral punishment to ge their attention.

As for global warming, I believe it happened, but it was a natural occurance and is about over. I do not think it was caused greenhouse gasses as claimed. I am glad we have some of the emmission restrictions that we do, but I think we are entering the overkill stage.

Hey,glad you are gettng rain non for us just cloudy.Looking out over the pond and hearing the birds chirp i know is peaceful on Gods earth and the things he gives us pleasure in.I have my coffee out side early every morning and hear birds chirp in the mornings befor all the noise of the day sart up.Very peaceful and relaxing just listning to the guite and the beauity of it all.God bless you.

You should do just that get you some patio furniture get out in the mornings in the quite you would be amazied at the peace you would have just listening to the quite.i read my devotion out side with my cup of coffee it gets my day on the right track even though i fall some times God picks me up brudhes the dirt from my clothes and helps me get back on the right track of his ways.

You are the one that is being wise to wait until the end of the summer to buy.It is nice at night also.I sit out there late at night when every one is in bed with no TV or computer that is my quite time I love it.I live in the country and love it.

I think that is a big thing. If you get them under control and to respect your authority when they are young, it is a lot easier when they get older. Then, like you say, some kids are just smarter than others and they get the message real quick.

Well, I honestly can't remember if I did spit the feet out or not. I guess I did, though - I remember they were really chewy. I never ate crayons, though -- grass? Maybe. LOL - the colorful poo comment makes me think: what happens to kids who eat those scented color markers? It took the kindergarten teachers all their might to explain why we should NOT eat the markers that smelled like fruit.

Thank you for sharing that with me, I appreciate it. You are correct about the crucifying part. Some folks forget that they are not perfect either and that was the point I was trying to make. The parable I quoted from John Chapter 8 is one of my favorites, and this my interpretation of it; I believe that it illustrates two points, 1) we have no right to point a finger or judge someone because none of us are perfect, 2) I think it was his diplomatic way of telling us to mind our own business. The lesson taught in that parable is invaluable to all, believers and non-believers alike.

BTW, I never supported either of his campaigns. Thanks again my friend!!!

check out for the argument against the endangered species as now used. It isn't an easy question and how to be wise is unclear to me.

This is about polar bears. Seriiously. Listing them as endangered means a huge change in the way Americans live. Plus, there are 'other concerns' as seen in this quote from the Notice of Intent to Sue the Bush Adminstration:

“At the same time the administration is illegally delaying a decision on the polar bear listing, it is also racing to sell some of the polar bear’s most important habitat in the Chukchi Sea for oil and gas development,” said Andrew Wetzler, director of the Endangered Species Project at NRDC. “These oil and gas sales must be placed on hold at least until the polar bear listing is finalized.”

Read the whole notice here:

http://www.biologicaldiversity.org/swcbd/PRESS/polar-bear-01-09-2008.html

Hey,i see your light is still on so thought i would stop by andd say good night hope you have a good one and hope your day was good as well.

Thank you for the correction. Punctuation, sentence structure and such was never a strong suit of mine in school. Maybe I should have you proof read the things I write before creating a blog.

I think it's great you're thinking about having another child. After I had the twins I told my husband I'd consider having another baby. But my husband wanted to know with whom! LOL

Yes, kids do definately keep you young. Otherwise you look weird on the playground equipment by yourself. LOL I had my daughter when I was 20 and didn't have a clue what to do. I always wanted to give her a sibling closer to her age. Someday I hope I can still have at least one more. Good luck with your new addition (whenever he/she arrives)!

Thanks for your comment on my profile page. I understand that not everyone is crazy on GOLO. LOL But there are a few "nut cases" floating around here. LOL

"You have convinced me. I should have another kid or 2... I need to balance out the world with some more intelligent kids to make up for your drooling idiocy."

OMG - I'm about to pass out! ROFL!

BTW, I've been asking myself the same question about how old is "too old." I've determined that my body determines when I'm too old and it stops allowing me to have children. That's my position and I'm sticking to it 'cuz I'm 37 and not even close to having a baby - although I know I will one day! Good luck to you! =)

Hey, I tested that scrambled letter blog post (the one I put up last night) on my neighbors' 11 y/o grandson. He has a few 'issues' (ADHD and bipolar being a couple of them) and even he was able to read right on through it like it was written normal. It was kind of neat to see how young a person can process it. He thought it was funny!

Not sure with someone dyslexic...but it would be interesting to find out.

Brilliant post on the "why" blog. I am a little to outspoken on those blogs I fear.

Want to know why *I* want people to be aware of the offenders, check this out:

http://www.wral.com/golo/image_gallery/3355201/

I agree completely. Then there was the blogpost about the rude person in line that really hit a nerve with me. Coming from the one that started these blogs really left me speechless. I consider those blogs rude. Maysmoms blog I thought was great, sound advice. Not the random offender which I believe serves no purpose. Or stories of children being hurt trying to force people to read all about it. That is absolutely sick to me.

I like this name, lol. Some people don't know what it is I think, I really don't think anything of it, I am most definitely not a satanic person. Take care!

Seems like the peanut gallery is out to insult me now for what I posted. Not a very bright course of action for them, lol.

I like your profile pic, very much love anime. Looks almost familiar, which one is it?

"And here I thought you were about to discuss a fine Harry Potter book, and I end up with this nonsense."

Nonsense? That's big word for a South Park fan...I guess the truth about the Chosen One is not important to you...

Before I joined The convicted offenders group, I never paid much attention to the stories, I would hear the horror stories then forget it. After i joined the group, I started paying attention, and the horror was happening a lot. I thought the group would be a way to bring attention to the problem.

Please come to my profile, I saw a question you asked that I can answer and have posted for you. I will delete it once you have read it, just post to let me know.

And who is your Profile pic? Love the avatar.

*pats st8kdryver's head*

Condescend much?

I deleted them all, no problem. Take it easy!

Thank you for your kind words.

I am going to look those up, you are obviously an aficionado when it comes to Anime. I have seen a lot of the "darker" ones, Fist of the North Star, Urotsukidōji, ones like that. I guess the more "out there" it was the more I wanted to see it. If there is anything you are looking for in that Anime let me know, I seem to have a knack for getting all kinds of stuff, even series from beginning to end. Just never really knew what to look for. I would be more than happy to get them for you. Right now I collect those Narutos for about 5 friends. We are somewhere around 100 episodes ahead of Cartoon Network, lol.

The way hey send the new ones from Japan are in an .avi format. I am not sure if you are familiar with .avi so if my explanation is already known I am sorry.

.avi formats are also called xvid and divx files. Some DVD players play these formats but almost all computers do. This format is the only way I can give you the newer Narutos, 20 or so episodes per disc. I can give you just about anything in this format. They are also in Japanese with English subtitles. It will be quite a while before they are translated into English. They also use the occasional "lighter variety" of profanity. "D" or "S" word.

I got my upconverter DvD/Divx player at BestBuy for around $50.

If you want them I will give them to you, just wanted you to know how they are. I can get any series like this, ones that are already out in the US I can get in DVD that will play in any player. Name the series, I will get it. Glad to share with a fellow Anime lover. Getting Nausicaa - Of The Valley Of The Wind dvd now.

She'll get glad in the same shoes she got mad in...

I LOVE what your granny said! How neat. Never thought of it like that. :-)

I'm going to try to remember that little diddy. How TRUE!

Have a good night.

Beth

I love hearing stories like that - love it! I've always liked hearing about the old days and we are talking old! :-) It is amazing, you're right, about how much has changed in the last 100 years. Life back then, was so much simpler; there was no "rat race." Just simple times - hard times, too. But wouldn't it be wild to be able to go back, maybe 100 years, just for a DAY! Could you imagine!?? I don't think I could. My _____ is too lazy to do what those folks did back then! I'm too use to throwing clothes in the washer & dryer! Too use to getting in my car and driving! Too use to getting to the store in 3 minutes! Hee hee!

Beth

Thank you! That was so sweet. Can you belive, I've never heard that song? Where have I been!? Maybe I just don't remember it, but I loved the video and the song. I wish I could just skip tomorrow and go directly to Wednesday. :-(

Thanks for your kind words.

Beth
