I havent heard from mine, I sent him a postcard a few days ago and a letter went out today.
You can always try it on your own and see if you hear anything back then have your kids send him a lil card or something to bring a smile to his/her face!
I am SURE they will write back...... some are busier then others.

Our involvement in the Middle East certainly has played a roll in that but I think that is far too simplistic a view to explain a very complex and diverse problem. Hating all Muslims is not the answer but I don't think altering our way of life to appease them as parts of Western Europe are doing is the answer either. In short, I don't have the answer!

As for the Middle East I don't see peace there in my lifetime whether or not we get completely out. Eliminating our need for their oil would be a big step in the right direction but I'm not sure we have it in us to do it. I hope I am wrong on that.
