about danasglobaltravel
I just recently started my own travel business as a way to share my passion for seeing the world and learning about new cultures. I have studied and lived abroad and made friends from all over the globe - and now I am fortunate enough to help others explore world through my website, www.danasglobaltravel.com.
I write a weekly blog on WRAL.com to give insider travel tips and share my experiences - I hope everyone can learn about new and amazing destinations and be inspired to try something new.
I love spending time with friends, my dog, and reading a good book. The triangle has been my home on and off for over 10 years.

But if you find that the mix wasn't well received today, perhaps you could alter your ratio to have about 95% memoir and narrative, and just 5% promo or quick blurb like "Get in touch if you'd like more info: URL" (or something similar). That shifts the business stuff just a hair, and it may be a more receptive within the community.
In the end, though, you need to do what feels good to you. This is your regular blog, and according to the tally up top there are 5144 profiles (and opinions). I'm glad to see you've stuck around. Your information is a nice balance; GOLO's strength is drawn from variety, I have always believed (and promoted).
