Golo appears to have an abundance of those obsessed with drawing attention to themselves.  You know who you are. Certainly, some have mental issues. They block/unblock/reblock etc.  Basically, they are attention ho's.

Then the retaliation blogs follow (from those blocked), that further clutter the blog space. The end result is more drama and all of golo suffers. Sadly, neither party is really as important as they think they are.

btw, If I am blocked from posting on your profile, please show the respect of not posting on mine. You will be deleted fat face Hogbless, and SC, and yo udder attention ho's. You and them or so pathetic. Get a life.

 

For what they are worth, here are a few of my core beliefs: 

I believe in accepting personal responsibility. If I behave poorly, I will not blame others for my actions.  If you behave poorly, only you are accountable.

I don't believe in apologies that are qualified by excuses. That is not a true apology. Be sincere, keep it simple, and move on.

Please practice forgiveness.  Resentment, anger, and grudges are poisons to your heart.

If you are a Christian, try to live your life that way as opposed to shielding yourself behind a "no one is perfect sign". That shield can be abused.

Practice kindness to your fellow man or woman and all of our critters.  It costs nothing to be nice, and the rewards will be plentiful.

my big fierce red dog Coby (he came with the name)is scared of the vacuum cleaner and the PediPaws-he'll almost go through the door to get away from them! I wish they had named him Clifford, but I hated to change it since he came when called.

I hope now that all the furbabies have been outside they will come back in and snuggle for another hour or so. It seems a shame to get up early when we don't have to. But the coffee is made and I have a feeling that they are going to want to play...and just like my human child, I am the preferred playmate. TTYL

Good afternoon Jack! Thanks for the friend request. I did the blog because it reflected how I felt about a particular subject. Some turned it personal and made it be about me and another which it truly was not. I took it down and made it private because I am just tired of it all. Trying to have a little GOLO peace. I argue, fuss, cuss, fight, etc, etc, on here just like the next. Two things I have NEVER done on this or any other board is troll someone or post their personal information. That is not my style. And to be called a wolfe in sheeps clothing is a bit funny to me. I always thought I came straight at folks. No hiding how I am feeling. Very vocal. But we all cant get along. So I have decided to respectfully agree to disagree and move forward. Anything less than that is fruitless and a waste of my time. You enjoy your day!

What an amazing compliment. How does one respond but to say with the utmost humility that I thank you indeed sir for having that opinion of what I write and how I blog...

In these turbulent times, I feel my "thinking" is clouded just about every day. I realize so many are suffering and doing without and only feel confidence in knowing that NO ONE promised ANY OF US an easy path.

I take what life gives me....and live it in such a way as to strive to attain comments like the one you just made....

It is a huge sign of respect and I am truly grateful....

i did need a wake up comment-thanks! It never ceases to amaze me how much space critters take to sleep. Only one of my 3 dogs consistently sleeps with me, but both the cats do. Actually, they think it is their bed and they kindly allow me to have a small space. THey resent my turning over because it disarranges them! Now yesterday morning I had all of them in bed with me-we snuggled down to watch "The Beverly Hillbillies". They like Elly Mae-go figure.

Darlin' Jack! Thank you for your kind words. Must've been something in the air that night, as I was not my usual placid-self. I guess it just really rubbed me the wrong way to see Kim blasted like that in an apology blog. It just didn't set well with me, and Kim's been nothing but sweet to me in all the time that I've visited with her on golo, and while being fiesty like that isn't usually in my nature, neither is watching someone get drug thru the mud. :\ What can I say? Coleen's blog was only positive until she mentioned the blog from the night before. That wasn't necessary nor was it positive because it led those who hadn't seen the blog of the prior night to go to look for it to see what had happened.

I have put several people from that negative clique on block and ignore, and I'll deal with them no longer.

I see your point Jack. For myself I very seldom (if at all) rfuse a "Friend Request" as I feelif they think enough of me to request such, I am honored to receive such and to agree is the least I can do. As for Blocking/Ignoring I don't think I've ever tried to generate ill will toward anyone else by doing such, it's just my way of not dealing with some who reveal tjhemselves to be miserable, wretched creatures with whom I just as soon not have anything to do with. And it's not that they and I may believe differently about Life, Religion,, Politics..etcetera...They just come across as the kind of person I'd never sit down and drink coffeee with...or sit down and share a bottle of wine or a six pack of Natural's...No they come across as the kind of person(s) that I'd avoid as much as possible so as to not being polluted with their negative vibes and hateful attitudes.I realize I'm not the best liked person on GOLO...I'm not trying to be anything but myself...Good or Bad, I try to be me.

I had to get a shot in my shoulder today. Can't lift weights, nor hit any golf balls. I hate it. Just want to be healthy and do the normal things.

The comment that I quoted came from the blog. As I said, the circumstances between you and her are, as far as I'm concerned, between you and her. The issues you spoke of, I was not involved in and wouldn't bring up.

You appear to value someone being up front with you and that is what my comments were. I am not asking you to change your stance. If those are your feelings, then by all means you should stand behind them. You will rarely find me swayed or coached by anyone and I have a decent sense of humor.

If I had made such a comment about someone that you are familiar with, out of context of the entire blog, when that person was not "in" the blog, but just to throw the comment out there, would you find it funny or would you tell me that you thought that particular comment was out of line?

For me, I'd rather someone tell me, but everyone is not like me and I understand.

I was back up at 1:30 to let the puppy out. Her bladder is small. we went to bed earlier than usual and she couldn't make it all nite. I grew up with all kinds of critters and except for the years I was married I have always had at least 1 cat and 1 dog. Hubby didn't like animals but did let us have farm cats. Our son took after me and loves animals so it wasn't long after hubby's death that we started having pets again. My only complaint with cats is the fur-dog hair will lay there on the floor and wait for you to suck it up in the vacuum cleaner...cat hair floats up to stick to the ceiling fan, the lampshades, you know the rest.

Gotta go get my son up-he went to Relay for Life last nite and came in after 1 am. Told him his time was mine the first few hours this morning then he could hang out with his friends. We have to go pick up the 2 iron benches I bought yesterday. real excited about my bargain-can't wait to see them by the pond. I have a list & when we finish his time's his own

Yea I love watching DVD music concerts. Crank up the surround sound and it makes you feel like you are front row at concert. Some of my favorite DVD concerts that I have are Eagles, Hell Freezes Over, Eagles, Farewell from Australia, Fleetwood Mac, The Dance, I have a couple of Genesis, I got a real good Pink Floyd DVD...I love Mark Knoffler and Dire Straits. One of the most underated bands ever. Telegraph Road, Romeo and Juliet, Industrial Disease, Skateaway, so many great tunes. I have been looking for a DVD by them did you say you had one? I will have to buy it. I could listen to Knoffler play the guitar all night long...As long as we don't discuss Duke/UNC we are cool, lol...

Jay...Last year I talked to some guys down at Averasboro that were metal detecting (on private lands with permission)and one of them revealed to me he had a map of the sites on the Fed'vul to Cameron, from there to Gulf sections of the "olde" Plank Rd. taht showed where the tollboths had been located. I'd never thought of researching something like that. He said it was unbelievable how many goodies they'd found already.

I've always felt that was true. Fortunately, I had him for a fine example. When I married, I also got a beautiful 3 yr. old daughter. I thanked him so many times for showing me that being a parent had nothing to do with blood lines. She's now 25 and our pride and joy. I tease her and tell her she was the easy child (no diapers or 2 am feedings) lol. Thanks!

Had a wonderful Sunday-went to eat with the half-in-laws, then the fun ones all came back to our house to play in the pool and grill out for supper. It was a nice relaxing day and the kids enjoyed the pool. I enjoyed them enjoying it. That's one of the reasons I put it in. The other is that it feels so nice if I get really hot in the yard to take a float break! Have a great start to the week!

Congratulations on the good offer on the condo. One of my good friends has had her house on the market for well over a year. So, have you found a new place for you and Jackie? let me get back to you on that when I get to work. You might want to keep that one in a safety deposit box. Old colt pistols command premium prices. Guns like that can usually sell for 2-3 times blue book value. Right now...not so much, but economy seems to be gettin a little better
