I maintain, though, that there was misinformation but caused by the change of the text on the change.gov website.
My primary point is that the Service plan has been portrayed as an out-of-the-blue sleight-of-hand by Obama. I have seen multiple posts to that effect here.
During the campaign, a couple of blogs were posted concerned with Obama's service and defense plans. I read the Obama campaign's website thoroughly to understand what these plans entailed. So, upon seeing the recent blogs about "servitude" etc, I, too, was irritated since it was wrong to paint the Service plan as new. Anyone who informed themselves by reading both Obama's and McCain's websites would have known this.
I suspect in the rush of the moment, a poorly paid campaign worker messed up.

I have to admit I hoped the higher gas prices might reduce the amount and intensity of traffic, but I never sensed it in this area. Worse yet, prices are plummeting.
