A source of amusement for some GOLO'ers, Dido (Dee-Doh) was the name I called my paternal grandmother. A Dean Martin fan, she loved listening to "Dino" on her stereo (remember when music came on large, vinyl platters?). "Dino" mutated to "Dido" and the name stuck. When my son had his first child, he asked if it would be OK for my granddaughter to call me Dido (as he had fond memories of his great-grandmother). I happily inherited the name...the rest is history.
Try as you may, the is no "L" in the name :)
Hubby and I have been married almost 32 years . Proud grandma of four beautiful girls (Alyssa, Isabella, Emma and Olivia) and one handsome grandson (Connor). And, let's not forget, my "grand-doggers"....Daisy, a Golden Retriever.....Carly a German Shepherd. Add in a full-time job as a Hemodialysis Nurse, and there are just not enough hours in the day to do everything!
