Good Morning,would be nice to see the sun peep out today sure hope it does.Hope you have a very good day.

Love the quotes in your blog! Hope to see you around!

Thank you for your kind thoughts. They are much appreciated.

Hey Terri, how are you doing?

Our leaves are starting to turn color big time and they're just beautiful, especially the maples. If I had any ambition, I'd go rake some to add to the compost pile. There's a three foot tall tomato plant growing in it. With the time change this weekend, though, I doubt it will live to produce anything. We've still got a few tomatoes and peppers going. BF made up a batch of sausage and peppers last weekend, throwing in some jalapenos, habaneros and cayenne peppers - said it was GOOOOD. The broccoli are OK and the chives are really tall.

I hate seeing the time change! Though it will be nice not to have to get up in the dark. I've been going to morning Job Seeker Networking events in the area and it's dark when I leave home (7:15 - 7:30am).

Susan

Do you remember back when you were young, and knew MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE?!

LOL--How well I remember those days. you couldn't tell me anything back then either. Thank you for your kind words. It's getting harder and harder to hold a civil tongue on this "community site". I love the picture of your dog. It looks like it's in a world of love in that picture. I so still miss my black lab and april will be 7 years since I lost her loyal love.

Hey,I'm doing great.Hope you are as well.How do yopu like these beautiful days we are having ?

And yes, I am off of GOLO more than on now, for I was taught that "if you can't say something nice, keep your mouth shut", and it has become quite a challenge in these parts!!!

LOL Terri. That's a winner.......Hope you have a good weekend coming up. Yep I also spoiled my lab as best I could......

I was thinking the EXACT same thing! Like are you serious? I know how to spell my name. It is MY name, good grief! Just when you think you have seen it all, something new happens..LOL

LOLOLOL & HA HA HA HA HA HA HA @ your saying lawsie! LOL

/* giggle */

/* bump stumble bump */

/* giggle */

/* knock, knock, knock */

Trick or treat!

Hey stranger!! Great to hear from you. Hope you've been doing well. I'm loving this cooler weather!

Regarding my names, I change them all the time! I get bored with one and then BAM, and new one comes to to mind! This name, I actually STOLE though. So, can't take credit for something that I didn't come up with, but I LOVE it!!!!!

Hope you have a great week. {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}

Beth

Hey, hope all is going well with you and that you have a good week.

Good Morning to you,hope you have a good day as well.

LOL! No. Crisp had nothing to do with my current name. It was actually a FEMALE who came up with this name and I love it! ROF!

Hope you have a good day. {{hugs}}

Beth

Hi Terri, floating by Wilson isn't very herd to do....LOLLLLL! Glad you guys are doing well!

Did ya pick up any BBQ!?

;-D

Oops, "hard to do"......

Hope you had a good day today and I sure hope the week goes smoothe your way..........

Hi Terri: Yep.....and I bet I know that bird's name too! I am just so glad to be up on my feet...not parked in the bed or on the sofa! (Hubby can be a tyrant about that!) LOL I will try to be better about getting back on....hopefully I will have stitches and staples out on Monday and then with a little luck, back to work next week. Yeah me!!!! Thank you for your sweet thoughts...and I will be back with all of you daily now. Many thanks!

Terri: So did I but thank you so much. Appreciate you more than you know...(and it helps you know my bud, Ernie!) Take care!

Terri, Rinnai was the brand we used and again with mixed results. Overall they were a good product, expensive however.

I would suggest the good ole' "Consumer Reports" organization and pay careful attention to warranty and service. As I indicated, many of these units are installed on exterior wall of the house. The supply line that feeds cold water in to the unit is where we faced most of our problems, not with the heater itself.

Consumer reports can provide much better info regarding cost, efficiency and overall customer satisfaction than I can...

They will be expensive, and if the reason for getting one has to do with the length of time it takes for hot water to reach a certain bathroom, then there are cheaper alternatives.

A recirculation pump is the first one that comes to mind.

Many conventional hot water heaters have digital controls and multiple settings. I am uncertain your real interest in these "tankless" systems but regardless, feel free to ask any ???'s

Teri, If space is the main concern your friend has, and the current heater under the house is failing, then this may be the way to go.

Sometimes the "short" heaters designed for a crawlspace can cost more than their counterpart of greater capacity.

If she is willing to spend the money, then off course one of these would solve her space problem and not have to deal with the heater being under the house.

Just consider the supply lines which bring cold water to the unit. It is extremely important that these are protected from freezing. If she plans to install this unit inside the house along the inside of an exterior wall, she should be okay.

Tell her to contact a company called "Yellow Dot Heating and Air" if she lives anywhere near the triangle. They are well reputed and I have had them do several things to the houses I own.

Also, I would recommend she do some homework on the manufacture of whatever she decides. The internet is a wealth of info regarding peoples actual experiences.

Teri, I am truly attempting to liquidate all of my assets, to include all the furniture in that was in my house in Cary.

And when I say all, I mean ALL. LOL....

I purchased countless pieces of Bassett's "Grove Park" collection in 2000, which includes pieces for living, dining, and bedrooms.

I was going to do an Ebay Auction of ALL of it, to include my leather sofa, loveseat, and recliners. Just haven't done that yet...

Not certain just which way to approach this yet...but one thing is certain....I am done collecting any sort of stuff....and would just as soon see my possession reduced down to my shop, and a box full of clothes....

Good Morning,hope all is well with you and you had a good week.Wishing you a nice and happy weekend.

I'm feeling the best I have in weeks and enjoying this eautiful day.Hope you are as well.

No Teri. I don't have it. I was going to ask myself But haven't. I know he was going to be busy today with arrangements.

Good Morning,hope you had a good weekend and wishing you a good as well.

Hey Terri,

lol me skeered? oh no

just been very busy lately with work and well not enough time for Golo.

Being trying to come back but I'm having an altercation with another Goloer, so trying to keep myself out of trouble

LOL...you must be referring to the entitlement pig, the one who thinks she's entitled to whatever she wants, at everyone else's expense!

LOL Dishonest friends don't last long. You can't ever count on them. Sending mail.

no prob!

Thanks for the card...check your email!

MUAH!

Thank you.It is always nice to know that others are thinking about me :) Hope you have had a good day even in the rain and wind.

Thanks Terri !!!

Terri: I am getting better each day. I have a little cold which I think came home from the hospital with and it won't go away. Taht and every time I eat anything, I get the hicups! Don't have a clue what that is about! Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for your kind thoughts!

"That and..." Darn computer...can't spell today!

No, Dear, I'm not mad with anyone. It's just a lot of going on and now getting the offices ready for tax season and packing up stuff at the temp to get ready for the move in a couple of weeks to the perm home. And then all the stuff that survived the fire will be coming from Greenville. I'm only answering a couple of comments a day. Thank you for the boxes that Sue brought. They are most appreciative. I wish I could clone my self and be able to do a lot in a little time. No, I'm not mad, just slow at answering and living with a lot of stuff that I wish I could change, but, can't. Thank you for the emails and all that you have done. You just don't know how appreciative we are and all will be in the kitchen once we can get things set up. Take care and be good. I promise to be better as soon as I can. With Ernest regards,

That's good to know! LOL. Have a great weekend!

hi there sweetness, I hope you are doing good. ((((((HUGS)))))

Good Tuesday morning! Cloudy and foggy here. How's things going?

Will do. As soon as we move into our new home, the stuff that was salvaged will be coming back and once we can see what is there, we can decide what we need. All is appreciated and we are very much grateful for. It's just not being 'in control' of things that just can set me into orbit!! I have never been in this situation when I cant set deadlines and know exactly when something will take place. With Ernest regards,

Hey Terry, thanks for the kind words. We went and saw him tonight and he's doing well. They put a stint in and he should be going home tomorrow.

ruh-roh! Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't seen that document...wonder how many more just like him are out there?

LOL, I meant every word of it.

Funny story, I thought I saw your name on a customers name tag at work the other night and I was about to hug her neck and just start babbling golo stuff! Sadly, she wasn't you.

I agree, we should get together. I didn't hear back about the golf package...dang it, I never win anything. lol. I'm always up for lunch, if I'm not working. Give me a call when you have some spare time. :)

Just stopping by to wish you a nice weekend.Hope all is going well for you.

Hey I'm doing great.We may need the rain but like you hopeing it will pass us by.

Hope you are having a super weekend!! Nice to "see" ya!! Take care and hopefully we can talk tomorrow! Sleep well, and Goodnight.

John

good morning Terry, thanks for the birthday wishes!

"Like you, I just don't understand how some will just not grow up. Glad that I did, though. How about you?!

Terri"

I'm glad I did as well. I work in the roofing business and I can tell tyou that there's many older people that are willing to waste every last dime on drugs the day they get paid.

I lent my truck to a co-workers one day only to come home to see them on the news getting arrested for buying crack on a corner in a sting operation. The guys I knew told me the guy that got arrested righ t after them was in his 60's, driving a luxury car and an executive for Martin Marrietta with White House clearance. Many others that were arrested that day that you would never suspect of being crackheads including my co-workers.

Terri- I'm mostly into commercial, low-slope roofing now but spent many years installing metal, slate & shingles on residential roofs. The metal roof industry has changed some since I was really involved with it but I still know a little.

Being near the coast your biggest concern would be rust or the paint peeling. Many manufacturers paint-finish warranties aren't worth the paper it's printed on so look at that closely. Much of that also has to do with the type of metal you buy. Galvanized is probably the cheapest but will rust faster, galva-lum (galvanized & aluminum mix)used to be very popular because it was relatively inexpensive and holds up good. Of course copper is extremely expensive but will last forever and is beautiful. My company sells metal but I'm sure we're more expensive than our competitors in the residential but I'll find out what kind of metal is both cost friendly and durable.
