RESPECT is not something that can be mandated; it is not something that can be bought. Respect is something that an individual must earn through his or her own actions. All of the intimidation, legislation, or any other forceful actions that may be utilized, will not result in true respect.
And when those who are honored through "force" turn their backs, they will find daggers in the eyes of even those believed to have been their closest friends.
