Indeed it was...I could also see a ring around the moon (moon dog?) from the slight cloud cover.

To me the most amazing part was how far apart we are and still saw the same view.

It must have been coincidence about the con-trail - I don't see how we could be "lined up right" to see the same jet crossing the sky. Simply amazing to me...

I'm going to just enjoy it for what it was - wonderful.

Angel: It was me who was doing the fig/strawberry fig preserves....got them from my brother-in-law. I couldn't remember if you said you had figs trees or not. Hubby is a LEO and I have "connections" at the horse patrol...so I think I can do that. Being an old farm girl, I know not to use "fresh" but didn't know if you had a special concoction on yours. Thanks for the info....hope you have a great weekend!

Hi Headlong, Fishing is good for your soul, no matter if you catch anything or not..... I have never seen an albino catfish. I fish mostly in brackish water. We do have an true albino deer, although I haven't seen him/her for a couple of weeks. Solid white, prob. not a year old. I was fishing in the Pamlico sound a year or so ago. I was just off Indian Island which is inland from the ocean (just outside of Bath). All of the sudden about 60 bottle nosed dolphins were schooling around me. They were so curious they would swim by the boat. They ranged two feet to 8. I would stick my hand in the water and they would swim up and let me pet them. Of course it messed up the fishing because they were feeding.... but it was cool...... the one day I didn't carry my camera with me. I have been reading your blogs about your fishing this year. I love some fishing..... Thanks and keep me up to date on your catches. Shine.
