I say let all blacks out of prison right now. They are all obviously victims of the system. From here on out let no black person be penalized, criminalized, nor criticized for any wrong doing. Then and only then will white people be considered not racist. Does that sound about right, Al? That's what all Blacks hope for.Remember they are ALWAYS the victims.....

That's what all Blacks hope for.Remember they are ALWAYS the victims..... sry forgot to space in between my comment and yours

Your post speaks the ultimate truth

I wish you would email that joke to me..... can't wait to tell my dad.

swcowboy@clis.com... Thanks

Thanks for you comment on my blog. I hope you have a great weekend.

You will make alot more friends here. Never can have to many friends. I have really enjoyed GOLO, I hope we can talk more. Have your self a great weekend.

Good comments on bus driver story.

You read the blog on crime a little late. The one that I bumped was later changed by the poster due to much negitive feed back that was also erased by the poster. The first blog that the poster had posted was an aryan nation web site, that was full of hate stories on how to create an all white world. The first poster that was up there was a recruting website for a white suprimisist group. After a few bumps, the poster changed it to a civilized blog.

Hey, Blessyourheart. I'm also live in Moore County. I live in Robbins and work in West End.

I hope you don't have to go through the traffic circle to get to work. I hate that thing.

Is that you? What a pretty girl.Hope Friday treats you and your's just great.

hey, saw your comment on the lady whose kid is making fun of overweight kids. I'm RIGHT with you on that one! Kids learning it somewhere, if you ask me...

I would certainly HOPE its a joke and she thinks shes being funny. I really can't get a grip on if she is or not (and usually I can). I mean, I have a warped sense of humor and all, but there's a line that really shouldn't be crossed.

Hi Bless, TGIF!!!!

You are the WINNER ! ! !

I put the picture of the "parent murderer" with the "road rage" story to see if people actually pay attention to what they see, not only on GoLo but anywhere really.

You picked up on it just time you saw it.

Just some late night, early morning wasting of time on my part. LOL

Have a SUPER day.

LOL..most times, depending on the GOLO current and if the sun is shining most blogs are acceptable. Yours was good. I wish you luck! There are a lot of folks on here that are very knowledgeable about that type of stuff. I am reading and taking notes. I am sure you will get some good feedback! We can save the "slamming" for another day..8-)

We have always rented. My husband has never wanted to put down roots - his job has always moved us about every 5-6 years. Nope not military - his has installed several traffic signal ITS systems - we moved from Wilson, to Greensboro, to Columbia SC now to Fay. and have rented. Now I've just been told yesterday that the landlord is selling our house. If I could change one thing it would have been - I would have bought when we moved here cause it looks like we are staying. But now he's just changed jobs - lesser pay and nothing around here. I'm sure I will find something but I would buy if I were you. Nothing like walking out of your front door and seeing a "For Sale sign in your front yard". One doesn't think it can happen to you - but hey it can and it did.

You are OK girlie, I dont care what those others say...Ha! Thanks for your posts, Jack.

Blessyourheart, I saw you mention that you want to got to Pharmacy school. I was going to school to be a pharmacist. I was going to Campbell University to do so. It is a difficult program to get into. I have several girlfriends that have or are about to graduate from PharmSchool and all received student loans. If you can get accepted, do not worry about not being able to pay for it. You will make a bunch of money when you are done and can back those loans-no problem!!

I guess I made it sound like I was already in. I wish! Hahah.I was in the Clinical Research program (BS) and was applying to Pharmacy School. I have worked in a pharmacy, too, and while I enjoyed the job, I want more patient interaction. Now I am doing my pre-requs for nursing. But seriously, just keep trying. I have known people that applied that applied three times and got in on their fourth.

Thanks blessyourheart!! Nice Mustang!!

Hey GBY!! Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours!

You're welcome...glad I could help. With so many posts on this forum, it's hard to keep up with them all!

I have a friend that has a German Shepherd. He has used one of these fences for several years and has never had a problem with his dog getting out. He told me to make sure you change the battery in the collar every 3 months to make sure it doesn't quit working. Good luck with your dog.

I have a "crazy" Jack Russell

I don't know your situation, but if leash walking is an option, it is good for the dog, and you. Good luck.

GoodMorning, what part of the "Pines" are you from?? I grew up in West End, and my family still lives off Dowd Road.

I trained him myself. :) GSD's are the only type of dog I'll have- I grew up with a perfect one! ;). He;s not a 'friendly' dog, make no mistake about that, but he knows his territory and doesn't really care whats going on in the neighbors yard or across the street. He's lazy- squirrels and rabbits hold no interest to him! lol

I grew up right in town on Hwy 73 in West End. My dad ran Billy Cagles garage back when it was a gas station in the 70s. He is the one that sold it to Billy. I went into the military in the mid 70s and traveled the world several times over. I was in the Philippines for a few years, Korea and Japan many times, and all over Asia. After my tour of the Pacific, I was stationed at Tinker AFB, OK. I was in AWACS and we traveled all over the world some more. Spent a year in the middle east in Saudi Arabia and Egypt as well as Europe. I had been through Alaska several times, and was going to seperate from the Air Force and come here as a civillian, but they said they would give me a 4 yr assignment up here if I reenlisted. I did and they did...been here since 81. I love it here, although I do miss NC from time to time. I love our way of life up here, and love the freedoms that we have here vs. the rest of the country. Hope you are having a great day!!!

He's beautiful! I love black GSD's! Pippin is abnormally large...lol He does 'okay' with other dogs. He goes next door and 'talks' to the poor thing thats tied outside 24/7. He does not like the chihuahuas that live there (inside) though...He does GREAT with little kids- bigger ones (bigger than my 9 year old) make him nervous. My 23 month old regularly climbs on top of his and uses him as a step stool to get places...lol

Your pics are great...daughter is gorgeous...looks like a little angel!

and to answer your other question- no I don't take him out in public. He's way too protective and nervous and thinks everyone is a possible serial killer out to get me. lol. sometimes ill stick him in my van and hell go get lotto tickets with me though! lol. He lets the gas station owner (older guy) pet him.

YEah, thats a tough one to overcome, especially if he won't stop on a verbal command (the only time pip is on a leash is when I'm taking him to the vet).If I have him outside for any length of time, hes on a tie out, but more so to give the neighbors peace of mind! lol

Pips aggression comes form the teenage boys that live next door- right after we moved in, they threw rocks and sticks at him while I was not home. He's not quite been the same. He won't go in their yard, but if they even look like they are about to come in ours he gets riled up!

As far as your dog pulling you (and trust me, pip outweighs me, i would hate to see that! lol) do you have a choke chain on him? pip has one that we use, and its pretty good at controlling him if he does pull. When we were first training him, he had one with padded spikey things. I know, it looks like torture, but as long as they behave theres no issue! lol they learn that pretty quick! lol. just don't leave it on.

You can also get a harness that helps with pulling. petsmart has them i think...

I'm not familiar with that training group, so I don't know what methods they use. GSD require a really firm hand- they HAVE to know who is in charge. Even with pip (who is 7, almost 8 years old), every now and then he gets it in his head that hes the boss- i flip him over on his back and hold him down by the throat for a few seconds (alpha pack dog behavior) and he is back to normal. kind of like a reset button....lol

GSD's are also very protective and very territorial- pip is very much MY dog- he tolerates everyone else, but is truly MINE, and will listen to my commands over anyone elses' If hubby and I give conflicting commands, its me he listens to. And the dog chooses who he belongs to, not the owner (he was supposed to be hubbys dog! lol). They are great dogs, but not for the faint of heart! lol

oh i have no fear that pippin wouldnt hesitate to rip the throat out of someone trying to hurt me or the kids. HE definitely knows his job, though hubby might be on his own...lol.

When you are interviewing trainers and such, try to get a feel for how they discipline a dog. positive re-enforcement is great for training the basics, but the pup needs to learn there are consequences for NOT obeying a command.

You'll be okay, don't stress about it! A lot of training is learning how to train, re-enforce good behavior and discipline unwanted actions! Consistency is the key (yes, I know, easier said than done!) lol

I am glad you consider it your home...that is cool. I do visit down there. I havent been down since last year, but usually I try to get there once or twice a year. Sometimes I get down there even more, but I like to spend a month or so down there a year. It seems like lately, I have only been down there for a couple of weeks in the last couple of years. I keep telling people, its the same distance from there to here as it is from here to there!! That road goes both ways, and the planes do fly both directions...LOL

They have been up here. My Mom has been here twice, my Sister 3 times...my best friends twice...but that is over a 27 year time frame. I go to NC regularily and spent several winters there in the 90s. I got to spend my Dads last winter with him, and that was very special, but it does kind of seem that I go there about 10 times more often than they come visit here...and I understand it, but it is just an observation. I hope your Thursday is going well!!

HEY!I saw ur tag.my son is a red head also.He is a PI Kappa Alpha member.that's how I got my name PikeMom.Great school!

Happy Birthday! Hope you have a fun party!

Hi, just thought i would stop by and say hellow.I like being frinedly to every one and treat them the same way i would like to be treated.Hope you are having a nice day :)

;:

Good Monday Morning to you. Hope you have a wonderful day! :)

In an effort to try and 'interact' more with my 'friends', I am writing this note to all of my 'friends' to say 'hi'. So.... 'hi', 'have a nice day' and 'hope everything is going well!'.

Does that work?

PS: hows the dog training going? Did you find a trainer or find any good ideas?

Hey...hope you have a good day and a great weekend. I am so glad it's Friday...yippee!

good for jager! pip will bark at other dogs, but as long as they don't come to close to our yard doesn't do anything. I also notice with him, he seems more aggressive when he is tied up rather than when he is loose. If hes tied he will bark like an insane dog, but if not, he barely acknowledges them. UNless of course, they come to close. But hes never attacked another dog- i think they usually steer clear of him- maybe due to his size, if nothing else...? good luck with him! might not be as difficult as you feared!

Just sent you an email:-) Have a great weekend.

They called it a blobfish becasue it looks like a blobof j elly. It's made mostly out of the dame thing jellyfish are and it makes it float around the sea like a jelly fish. I thought of the old timey movie that was scary called the blob when I saw this lilttle creature. I think he looks too sad.

I held that bunny until he went to fur ball heaven.:{

"Has anyone picked up on your SlipKnot reference yet?"

You're the first ;-) btw I LOVE SlipKnot! :-D
