Hi Lynddsy, I hope your day has gone fantastic!! I know you were sending her a cooking site....but, LOL, we dont get much of a chance to toot our whistle..and I was tooting...LOL. Hey, it has started to cool off here, I am going to try and get a video of shooting a cup of coffee into the air and watching it disappear into a gas. If you go on TouTube, and look at "hot water in Fairbanks, Alaska" they have several videos of what happens, it is pretty cool...It is finally getting more like winter, they say we may hit 45 below zero tonight....pretty cool, but not SUPER COLD like it could be. Hope your evening went well and you have a great Wednesday!!!

Hey Lyndy....get that that frown off. No need for that. I'm on one of my "off" cycles from work...after four nights of graveyard , it's a welcome relief. Went and saw I Am Legend yesterday. Pretty good flick. Just an updated Omega Man though, with much beter effects. To me there were a lot of loose ends, but I always have liked Will in his acting so it was a 'must see' for me. Hope the doldrums aren't getting ya down again. If they are, shake 'em off. All of us walk on that bad path from time to time.

Hey Lynddsy, Thanks for the post, I hope you are having a fantastic night. The furnace seems to run quite a bit when it is this cool, and the woodstove is running a little hotter, and the house is nice and warm, and if you think it is getting too cool in the house, step outside for about 30 seconds....it will be nice and warm again...LOL I hope you are all ready for Christmas, and tht it is the Merriest you have ever had, and that your New Year is Happy and Healthy!!!

i hear ya Lyndy. I come in and out. Guess I ain't been as active on here as I have been at times either. This time of year it gets a lil hectic trying to keep with everyone. But believe you me, any oversight is nothing to get put out about, I just am the world's worse at keeping with with the gang. Swing shift does that to you. That and domestic drama. LOL Got out last thursday night and laid myself out in a dark area of Chatham County...to see the meteor shower. I wasn't disappointed with it either. Saw 154 of them between 2:15am and 4:00am. Best shower I've ever experienced. Got drizzled on, and checked out by one of the deputies...LOL...have to tell ya about that one sometime...but it was worth the discomfort. Hope all is well for you and yours also. Son came in from LeJeune for his Christmas leave so we'll be in and out trying to do the "family visiting" thing. You atke care now, and keep that lil frown off yer face. They say it takes more muscles to frown than to smile..Be good!

Good morning. Yes, my water froze the other day. (I almost said my water broke...goodness) Hubby didn't undo waterhose from outside faucet....but he "drained the hose". This happens every year. And he gets hysterical! When the water is frozen at the faucet, the pump can't pump and it kicks the breaker. But the dog needs water...ok, just UNDO the hose. YIKES.

It is sorta funny. Have a good day.

That is not what I meant but I did learn that at a very early age. My grandmother raised me and she was a very strong and terrific woman. So yeah I do know that lol.

Almost everybody has a “Christmas Tradition” that they look forward to observing every year.

Some traditions go back for years and years, while some were recently born due to a new child, spouse or significant other. Some are very deep rooted in family values and some are just fun.

Hope you're into a good weekend Lyndy. Don't let yerself get down. I sensed things might be a lil blue or grey. Walk it away. I made some "stoup" last night...it ain't stew and it ain't soup. Kind of a hybred crock pot concoction. But boy did it smell good this morning when I got up for work. I even et a small bowl for breakfast! I don't crock pot cook like I used to , but it sure is nice when I go back to it. Be good now, and don't let the "turkeys" get ya down!
