With all of the complaining that goes on here (some of you honestly seem incapable of doing anything else BUT complaining ...), GoLo has become depressing.
With the general trend towards the banal and inane, GoLo has become a waste of my time.
What is it about this place, which has so much promise of bringing people together to discuss ideas and learn from one another, that it brings out the worst in people instead?
You'll forgive me if I take my leave of it.

But in the process of advising her of that, you also violated the TOS, yourself. Surely you can see the humor in that. :)
She said she did not report you. Sheesh, there are too many thin-skinned people on here. There are far too many people that run and tattle like children, IMO. Sometimes it's called for, but I suspect I wouldn't agree with many of the alleged "abuses" being reported. At some point, I wish people could just get over themselves.

A very good question, indeed.
I don't think your blog should have been taken down by the managing editor. It was civil. You politely explained that you would report any abusive posts by her. Nothing wrong with that, as far as I can tell. I think the post with the word "dike" was more offensive than your entire blog.

look i have no idea about the whole dike comment but if it gets reported enough it would be removed but people have quicker access to your blog than her particular comments because your blog is publicized and nobody is really looking at her comments persay but the people she posted to and the people who go there. So that is probably why your blog got removed quicker than her comment... than again im not the mooderator so i dont know just my two cents!

Not telling you your business, but it sounds like the thing to do now is just quietly report abuse instead of telling everybody you're going to report abuse. Everybody got all bent outta shape over that. Just post your posts, and report the abuses you want to report. You're not breaking any rules and you're not in the wrong. Nobody gets your point but me and maybe a couple others. You announced it to the world because you want to change her behavior. In a way, that is doing her a favor. If you just anonymously report her, you might end up getting her posting privileges revoked.

I'm not a fan of it, either. I'd prefer to see everyone treated as an individual, by both ally and foe. I believe the terms people use -- both PC and hateful -- go against this, so I typically don't subscribe to either. But if an individual wishes to be designated a certain way, I'll use his/her preferred term, out of simple courtesy.

Some, yes. There are other qualities that people dislike, but I won't state them unless asked.
Btw, your underdog sentiment is somewhat ironic, since Feisty assesses herself the same way.
And "rankles" is just a really fun word.

Some people consider you arrogant. I think you already knew that, but I didn't want to just volunteer it.
Beyond that and the underdog stance, it's all about your politic views (which go back to the underdog stance in many ways, so maybe that doesn't count as "another" reason). Again, I'm sure you already knew this.
Wrt Feisty, it's on her profile. I won't pass judgment on it or your own self-assessment, but I believe each of you has a big heart, a passion for your views, and a scrappy willingness to champion certain causes. Beyond that, you stand on either side of a very wide chasm. :-)

I enjoy reading your posts on various topics - you have a penchant for addressing the facts (amazing) without a lot of emotion (even more amazing). Actually, I have my future options open as far as continued education is concerned. Also, my mother and both of her brothers are lawyers and/or judges. One of her brothers has worked on a few high-profile cases.
Lastly, your online persona is interesting/intellectually stimulating.
