With all of the complaining that goes on here (some of you honestly seem incapable of doing anything else BUT complaining ...), GoLo has become depressing.
With the general trend towards the banal and inane, GoLo has become a waste of my time.
What is it about this place, which has so much promise of bringing people together to discuss ideas and learn from one another, that it brings out the worst in people instead?

You'll see a gradual increase as the delinquencies age. The older something bad on a credit report is, the less the scoring model penalizes you for it. Eventually, when it ages off at 7 years, it stops being a penalty altogether. Nothing is really that drastic when it comes to changes in a credit score.

I had a negative experience a few years ago related to one of these type of forums in which someone deduced who I am and started calling the university with all sorts of complaints. I wanted to make sure that wasn't going to happen again before I agreed to do this.
