about blondton13

I reject your reality, and substitute my own! ~ Adam Savage from Mythbusters

Single mother of one teen; Bachelor of Science in Biology; taught middle school science for one year. Now I work at a medical device company in RTP.

As the daughter of a Vietnam/Gulf War veteran, I respect all of those that have fought and will fight for my right to be an American. Thank you.

Allow me to inform you that I am not here to make friends, nor do I care if you like me or not. I can (almost) guarantee you that most here do not share my tasteless sense of humor, my pro-choice, pro-death penalty, pro-military while anti-war, political and agnostic convictions. And that's quite alright. I respect everyone's right to be who they are. However, very few people respect my views. And that's okay, too. Just go about your way and I'll go about mine.

:)

If you want to see who made you mad, or get to know me a little better, I have another profile at that infantile "my space" place under the name blondton13.

"Someone who thinks logically, provides a nice contrast to the real world."

"You shouldn't compare yourself to others they are more screwed up than you think."

"Nothing is more discouraging than unappreciated sarcasm."

"I’m not a complete idiot, some parts are missing."

"A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking."

Why is there no "favorite book" section? Here's my authors and books:

 BOOKS:

Ishmael series; Watership Down, Oryx and Crake, 1984, Catcher in the Rye, Of Mice and Men, Dreamcatcher, Ender's Game, Lab Rat Manifesto, Night Shift, Brave New World, I am Legend, American Gods, The Stand, Sand County Almanac, In the Country of Last Things; anything written by Isaac Asimov.

If its burping/flatulence I'm your go to girl :-) Some prisses here don't care for me much, think I am uncouth...I guess they can just open a big ole' can of shutthehell up -LOL! Have a great night.

Yeah, you're gonna catch hell for that blog.

Sorry about your blog...I guess after someone on the net trying to start with me today I immediately took your blog as a joke and didn't think twice about the pic. Just me...I try to see humor in everything.

You may want to change the pic...

How about put your pic on this profile in place of what you have? That would be awesome!

What was the point of the picture with your blog? Are you really that insensitive?

No problem. I though it was funny, even if it was tasteless. :) During the 80s, a series of books came out called Truly Tasteless Jokes. That kind of book would be burned by the PC police today.

As you saw, hypocrisy is alive and well on GOLO. I’ve never seen such a concentration of hypocrites in all my life. I just can’t explain it. They’ll laugh and laugh at someone posting Obama is “half honk** and all donkey” (which is funny too), but for some reason they can’t see the humor here?

We all have our sensitivities. But we also need to realize when it’s meant to insult, or when it’s meant in jest. Jokes, even really bad jokes, are meant to be funny.

Oops, just saw the comment on my blog on here. (just came from myspace) Thanks!

Just so you know I would have been fine with the blog yesterday but the picture is got me. I am not the one that flagged it for abuse. I'm sure I've offended here too and I'm sure it will happen again. No ill will towards you btw. Have a good day.

heya! thanx fer checkin out my profile! (((hugs))) That kitty pic is hilarious! lol Looks like MY cat at times... LoL!

Do you remember that there was a particular group of kids in high school who shunned anyone other than themselves? No matter how funny the joke, they refused to laugh unless one of their own members told it. These moonbat leftists are the same way. They curl up into their own little clique-ball and refuse to play with anyone else. Not that we want them to because they smell. :)

looks like your not the only one anymore........ gota love the internet!

Hale yeh you made sense!

Stick around, it gets quiet entertaining!

LOL

Really thou, there are some GREAT HONEST people on here, just avoid the obvious trolls!

Have a GREAT night !!!

Check out Women Speak Group! :)

The pic of your holding that gator's jaws shut is totally out of sight. Whoa, like wow.

Hey...another Schwinefurt refugee. Cool. It was a neat little town. Our unit was over at Conn Barracks (if I remember right) and the Medical Treatment Facility I was TDY to was over at Ledward, closer to downtown Schwinefurt...but it's been so long ago, I get kinda fuzzy on the details. We've got a new German restaurant in town I dropped in on the other day with my son, Levi. A plate of jagerschnitzel, pickled red cabbage and spattzletook me back to those good meals over there. And then the owner of the place brought out a serving of "peach" struddle. Imagine that over there! Anyway, I'll try and dig some of the old pix I have from over there and put them in a sep folder here in the next couple of weeks to see if you can rcognize anything from them. Be good, have a great weekend and holiday coming up!

The restaurant is the "Brathaus", it's easy to find. If you come into Sanford on 87/15/501 from your area, just stay on 87 which turns into Horner Blvd, the main throughfare through town. When you come to intersection of Horner and Bragg Street, there's a Walgreen's on the right and a Burger King on your left which is where you stay in the right hand of the two left turning lanes onto Bragg. As soon as you make the turn ease on over into the shopping center right there on your right as you'll see the "Brathaus" there in front of you. Real nice people and they make most of their fare in the restaurant themselves. Good selection of German beers and wines also. Come hungry. :) I think you'll like it for a good taste of the "olde country" as I loved it myself. Son didn't care for it, but shoot...what do kids know? ;) Have a great weekend.

Yea, Ive read several of Dawkins' books this year. Im working on Hitchens "god is not great" right now. But do check out the Weisman book, you will definately enjoy it if you liked the history channel documentary.

you seem cool... people can be so disrespectful just because they disagree with something that you say. opinions are like ____, everyone's got one. :) and it's especially hard being atheist or agnostic in the dirty south, i was "kindly asked to leave" at a church before for questioning why homosexuality was such a big deal when there are other problems that kill people. anyhow, keep posting... maybe the masses will learn some respect someday. =)

Thanks for joining our group! - We hope you enjoy it... we have a few believers in there with us but they are very well behaved (so far) ;-) Let me know if you'd like to post a group blog and I will be happy to set you up. Again, welcome!

Bukowski also writes funny novels!! I love "Ham on Rye"!!

Right on, Girl!! You read the same sort of stuff I do!

Cheers, Jacqi

"Ham on Rye" is utterly hilarious. I think it is one of my all time Bukowski faves. I've also got some other reading that you might like (having an interest in reading about Atheism). I posted this on "You can't be serious" page, but I thought you might like. They are:

1. "Everything you know about God is wrong: The Disinformation Guide to Religion" - Neil Gaiman (ISBN 1932857591)

2. "The Quotable Atheist: Ammunition for non-believers, political junkies, gadflies, and those generally hell-bound" - Jack Huberman (ISBN 1560259698)

3. "Atheist Manifesto: The case against Christianity, Judaism, and Islam" - Michael Onfray (ISBN 1559708506)

Very interesting stuff. I find that most of this helps me when people are attempting to gang-save me or tell me that I'm going to be burning in the depths of h.ell. I try to explain that I'm a HEDONIST - but it usually falls on deaf ears!! :0P

You have an interesting profile......

"Flip/Flop" Holy Guacamole Batman, I almost wet myself that was FUNNY!! Good One!

some schnitbird got my AMEX card # last year and bought 4 grand worth of money orders. I feel you pain. I feel your pain.

I miss the Summer schlussverkaupf, when everything (in August) in all the stores was on sale...Ot was like shoppers paradise on LSD

Thanks for the comment on my blog!

"And if someone is a convicted sexual predator, you can be darn sure I keep a closer eye on them which very well may prevent something."

Just be careful -- if you keep a closer eye on some stranger in your subdivision, you could be ignoring the true risks. Statistically, molestors are known and trusted by the child. It's best to keep a close eye on everybody!

And regarding your comment on " if someone is a convicted sexual predator," that's just the problem -- the registry doesn't indicate who's a predator and who's not.

And btw, in spite of the below, I agree this is a good tool to help protect our kids. It's just too bad there are more threats than the ones who have been convicted -- it's a sick, sad world....

"I don't trust ANYONE when it comes to my child."

That's absolutely the right way to be, and no, you're NOT paranoid! Take good care of your child!

thanks ! but last night I didnt do great, i kinda went nuts and went off on everyone but I feel better now

But my basic principle is do not say anything unless you are willing to say it to someone's face and there is no reason to name call- stick to the subject at hand."

well said

Well, I noticed you have Dexter for an icon. I miss that show!!! I never thought it would be one I'd like, but I kept on tuning in every Sunday night....

lol..no prob

Remember what you are readikng, This is a creative writing blog. Some true and some fiction. YOu must keep reading and keep an open mind. Never let me sway you from your true beliefs. I don't mean to discourage you but help is in this story. Kee coming.

Pollen is way down, but mold has exploded. There are mushrooms all over the place and you can see all the roofs covered in mildew.

Good blog on the death penalty, BTW. I love your profile. Very much to the point. Good points.

anybody that likes Dexter must have as warped a mind as I do...lol,,,and I have a tasteless sense of humor (so others say at times) and I don't care whether folks like me or not either,,,lol,,so I like you already!

You forgot that you were allergic to mold....

Let me ponder this one for a moment and see if I can fathom a rational explanation as to why you would forget such a thing...

*crickets chirping*

Yep, you're blonde. :)

So that now begs the question, what exactly is a "fruiting body?"

I had an image of some hot 17 year old babe with nice tomatoes.

i lived near the housing area where the murders occurred when they occurred. it is all water under the bridge to me...i read the first book...pretty convincing..and to be honest i did not read the 2nd book. i find any trumped of defense of j mcdonald not worth my time ...i am well aware of the mistakes made by the forsenics teams...and that the first mp's vomitted and moved things trying to make order of things...but riddle me this...if you are killing people ...on acid (3 people on acid cant find the bathroom but they killed 3 people) why didnt they kill the strongest person? the evidence was strong enough that his father and mother in law...went from firm supporters to firm believers in his guilt. these killings have literally divided families....who were there at bragg at the time...to this day ..i do not discuss it with my mother..she firmly believes he is innocent.

(McGinniss was sued by MacDonald in 1884 regarding the book and MacDonald won.)

i think you will find it was settled out of court...no winner no loser.

i am sure it was an insurance type settlement....i am sorry....this is something i have debated with other for decades....no ones mind changes.

"I can (almost) guarantee you that most here do not share my tasteless sense of humor, my pro-choice, pro-death penalty, pro-military while anti-war, political and agnostic convictions."

trust me darlin there are some on here that think exactly the same way...

absolutely

I stick pretty much to regular old coffee.... I do like to buy fresh dark roast and grind my own... or the standard Eight O'Clock brand. I like a cappachino occasionally in the winter. I will plead guilty to having never been to a Starbucks.

My moronic behavior is usually limited to "do it yourself" projects that I undertake with no real plan. I also play sports against people too young for me to play against. (I can hold my own, since old age and tredgery will always beat out youth and skill. I just hurt a lot the next day!) Let's not mention the stuff when alcohol is involved!

Amen on the books...But I can tell just by looking at your eyes, that candlelight or moonlight would reflect nicely...of course then you couldn't read all of them thar books...;)..Be good, have a great weekend!

thank you very much :)

" Sessy, you are a "hottie!" :) "

Awe! Why thank ya and so are YOU !! And your a shorty too? I LOVE it !

Hope ur having a great weekend!

Had to try to befriend you after reading that you love zombie movies! I just bought diary of the dead and I'm pretty sure I'm about to watch it.
