November 14th will be a big day in Raleigh with 2 separate events:
First, starting at 11:00 at Halifax Mall in downtown Raleigh
March on Raleigh. This event is being sponsored by Freedomworks, who also sponsored the March on DC on 9-12. This will include a march, followed by the rally on Halifax Mall.
Second, at approx. 2:00
Rally Against Amnesty for Illegals
at Bicentennial Plaza which is between the museums on the block just north of the Capitol Grounds. You'll be able to leave Halifax Mall, walk across the bridge around the General Assembly building and the rally will be across the street from the front of the General Assembly building between the museums. This will last approx 2 hours.
So, make plans to attend both events. This is part of taking our country back.

I haven't been spending much time here lately, hence the private profile. In fact, other than a quick breeze of the N&O in the AM, I've pretty much gone cold turkey on news. I've decided to see what's so great about total ignorance.

I did not know if I had told you that my hubby and I took some cookies to the USO at RDU airport before Christmas. The ladies there were so sweet! We gave them in memory of my husband'd father, who was a WWII veteran, and served in the Aleutian Islands Campaign. Interestingly enough, Mike's grandmother sent 5 sons to war ( 4 in WWII and 1 in Korea)and the all came back safe.

Ain't it the truth? I don't block nice people, or people I trust. I see some over there saying blocking is wrong, but they do it all the time. Either that, or stay on private or friends only most of the time. Silly.
I probably have the longest blocked list in all of golo. Ask me if I feel bad for it. lol

sheez, me too, but you know how i am. i appreciate his good intentions, i definitely do, but i really dont think he can steal an identity with the minimal info he said, and he's only feeding off of paranoia. besides, how is posting a picture of yourself going to help someone else steal your id? i really don't get it. if he really thinks that, how can he walk in public everyday for fear that someone would take a picture of him?

Do we really, or was that a reference to Elcid? Couldn't tell if it was meant to be a separate comment from the comments on Elcid; sorry, I'm out of it today.
I'm still not convinced on Elcid/DRB -- Elcid was so proud of his involvement in the Civil Rights Movement of the 60s, I just can't see him adopting an identity that couldn't have been involved in them. But then again, I was never sure his original Elcid identity was who he claimed he was, so who knows? That's how we roll in Golo.... ;-)
