Rolling Tea party to DC on Thursday Nov. 5th. For more info, go to www.rollingteaparty.com
*******************
November 14th will be a big day in Raleigh with 2 separate events:
First, starting at 11:00 at Halifax Mall in downtown Raleigh
March on Raleigh. This event is being sponsored by Freedomworks, who also sponsored the March on DC on 9-12. This will include a march, followed by the rally on Halifax Mall.
Second, at approx. 2:00
Rally Against Amnesty for Illegals
at Bicentennial Plaza which is between the museums on the block just north of the Capitol Grounds. You'll be able to leave Halifax Mall, walk across the bridge around the General Assembly building and the rally will be across the street from the front of the General Assembly building between the museums. This will last approx 2 hours.
So, make plans to attend both events. This is part of taking our country back.

The more I read about it here in Raleigh, the more I am kind of disgusted with it. That Ross McDowell character is not anyone I would want to associate myself with from everything I see.
Anyways, hope your event goes as well as you planned.

God it just feels good to be happy, even though I suppose I'm not a patriot. Ha whatever.

Oh and a patriot. Yup, I am.
Don't let your bitterness and hatefulness cause you a heart attack. You showed your true colors today. So sad.

I think the important part of the story is that the rallies actually took place. The message to the crazy spenders in DC is clear: We're fed up with the fiscal madness and will stand for accountability and responsibility.
Sorry if my tone sounded a bit harsh in my comments. I just get flustered at what sometimes are very misleading 'head counts', especially when there is indication that they were mistaken or inflated.
By the way, three of my 'liberal democrat' buddies were there yesterday, supporting the protest. I, too would have been there had I not had to work.

Apparently it's ok for Libs to protest the war and Bush's spending (I didn't like that spending either), but it's not ok for conservatives to protest Bush's or Obama's spending. Love it.

You know that I may point out when I disagree with you, but I would never stoop that low.
Keep fighting for what you believe in TMed. I would fight for your right to do that any day of the week.

He has, at various times, claimed to have graduated from the USMA, been a drill instructor, graduated from Univ. of Maryland and now, been SF.
He is certainly not a cop - all his "law enforcement" blogs are plagaraized. I called him on it last time and now I'm blocked.

The past 5 months or so I have done two things....worked on launching a new business, and sent out resumes.
Both endeavors are producing mixed results. People steal from me, and I haven't received any calls based upon my skill sets.
Who wants to hire a mid-level manager who is a white, male, and close to 50 with certain earning expectations?
But I will keep plugging along at both until one outweighs the other, or I fall off the grid all together...

I'm being attacked by many now, supposed believers and unbelievers alike. The devil is hard at work on GOLO.
Which one are you talking about? ;o)

I know what you mean. I don't live alone, and all my neighbors have guns and big dogs, plus we have peahens in the yard who hoot whenever butterflies fly through.
I just wish GOLO was a nicer place.
You would think you could expect that at least out of those who call themselves Christians.
If only we could all be the people The Bible says we can be.
sigh
God bless.

Yeah, there's something wrong there.
He keeps saying I follow him around, as if I have the time for that.
I have left him a message at his profile. You may go read it if you wish to see what I suggested to him.
I know we'll never get along, but we can try to at least avoid one another.
Thanks again for the encouragement.
You're one of the best!!!
God bless.

Reported as abuse. Reposted here for emphasis in consideration of:
"You further agree that you will not engage in personal attacks, harass or threaten, question the motives behind others' posts or comments, deliberately inflame or disrupt the conversation, or air personal grievances about other members of the community."
I'm quite certain that you're as fed up with hearing from me about these things as I am fed up with it being necessary to say anything about them. One easy solution would be to simply deal with the people causing it by violating the rules which ostensibly carry some weight around here now? That would certainly get me out of your hair anyway. :-D elcid89 GOLO member since Se

I was always that guy who'd walk into a room with bottles strewn everywhere, bras dangling from lamps, large swaths of plastic laying on the floor with puddles of mazola on them and people just coming too... I miss the good stuff... I was out pretty much all of yesterday and when I tried to catch up EQ's blog was down... bleh... Enjoy Atlas Shrugged. It's a little over the top some places but is it wrong to say it's more important to me than the Bible is to some people? We all gotta have something, right?
