About me
I don’t lie, and I despise hypocrisy. I’m very patriotic and believe in following the Constitution. I live by the Golden Rule of treating others as I would want them to treat me.
While I was born and raised as a Christian, I’ve seen the light and realize religion is a farce. While there are some exceptions, most so-called Christians I’ve encountered are hypocrites and frauds. That seems especially true on GOLO. I do not believe that Vishnu, Amon-Ra, Poseidon, Thor, Jehovah, or any of the THOUSANDS of other gods are real. They are all man-made, nothing more than fictional spooks in the sky. Prayer doesn’t work. Bottom line is that there is no God. Sorry.
By the way, I’m pro-gun, pro-military, pro-Constitution, pro-death penalty, pro-democracy, and pro-“nuking” any country’s tail that messes with the United States of America. I’m slightly left of center with my political views, mostly because of my support of the United States Constitution and the related civil/human rights. I vote for both Democrats and Republicans.
I’m a firearm enthusiast. Use to hunt in my youth, but no longer have a desire for it. I do my hunting at Food Lion. I still like shooting. I ride motorcycles. I’ve been riding over 20 years. I drive a ski boat. While I do fish every now and then, I practice catch and release. Nothing wrong with keeping fish, I’m just too lazy to clean them. Did enough of that in my youth. I like to stargaze. I know how to fly an airplane. Once in a blue moon I dabble in poetry. I like to camp. Well basically, I like nature. I love sitting on a high mountain ridge while birds of prey float on the thermals about me.
NOTE for those requesting to be friends: I REALLY appreciate the “friend” requests. I’m not thumbing my nose at you by not accepting. I just don’t like those kind of features. I prefer a totally open forum. Besides, I get a kick out of having “no confirmed friends”. :)
However, I have been considering it...

Alright here is what I believe - it is quite simple and make sense to me.
(it will be interesting to see how many of my words get busted by the word police)
IF male to male intercourse is unnatural, then why is it that the prostate is positioned so that it is possible to stimulated it anally causing ejaculation.
Not to mention, studies in general, that have shown that stimulating the prostate can reduce the chances of a man developing prostate cancer.
I think a long time ago, it was no big deal, but maybe the population dropped and someone somewhere got the idea to make it wrong to do . . . but then again, women were taught to believe that sex for anything other than procreation was unnatural too.
Another thing I believe is people who are homophobic see something in homosexuals that they recognize within themselves.
Here we go off to the word police . . .

What I meant earlier was that long before there was structured life when human-ish creative walked the earth, I think it was probably a case of 'any orifice would do'. Was one more desireable than another, maybe.
All I really know is that I like what I like, and I will not criticize another for liking something different.
Live and let live!

Quote from one of the survivors: "The grace of God helped us for sure". I guess his god didn’t have enough grace to protect the FOUR other boyscouts that were killed.

So, suspend democracy, justice, and rule of law for fear of what the enemy might do??!!! If this attitude would have been prevalent in the late 1700s we’d still be a British colony!

I tried to read every comment. It was a very though provoking blog and generally civil compared to discussions on these topics in the past. I can tell you've scaled it back a notch. LighterFoot?
I still am right back to believing mostly nothing concerning creation and eternity. I feel perfectly in tune with my existence spending time with my family, playing guitar or eating a good meal with a good beer. I always read just in case of a possible random Enlightenment.
On a technical rant: It is extremely difficult to follow blogs like this one without the ability to thread or post replies to individual comments. It just turns into a jumbled mess. Sometimes I wish wral would have just launched Golo on Wordpress.

Oh well. There is a HUGE difference between religion and God in America, and I find it a crying shame. I can only change myself and I am working on that :-)
Make it a great day.

While I do like bashing organized religion every now and then, that wasn’t my intentions in that blog. The bible does have contradictions and it does no good to claim otherwise. Some of them don’t matter, but some do. For example, consider my blog “are sins relative?”

Bottom line, I don't know. I'm sure Angela could tell you. If you find out, please share, because I'd like to know, but not enough to actually go ask....
Have fun!
