About me
I don’t lie, and I despise hypocrisy. I’m very patriotic and believe in following the Constitution. I live by the Golden Rule of treating others as I would want them to treat me.
While I was born and raised as a Christian, I’ve seen the light and realize religion is a farce. While there are some exceptions, most so-called Christians I’ve encountered are hypocrites and frauds. That seems especially true on GOLO. I do not believe that Vishnu, Amon-Ra, Poseidon, Thor, Jehovah, or any of the THOUSANDS of other gods are real. They are all man-made, nothing more than fictional spooks in the sky. Prayer doesn’t work. Bottom line is that there is no God. Sorry.
By the way, I’m pro-gun, pro-military, pro-Constitution, pro-death penalty, pro-democracy, and pro-“nuking” any country’s tail that messes with the United States of America. I’m slightly left of center with my political views, mostly because of my support of the United States Constitution and the related civil/human rights. I vote for both Democrats and Republicans.
I’m a firearm enthusiast. Use to hunt in my youth, but no longer have a desire for it. I do my hunting at Food Lion. I still like shooting. I ride motorcycles. I’ve been riding over 20 years. I drive a ski boat. While I do fish every now and then, I practice catch and release. Nothing wrong with keeping fish, I’m just too lazy to clean them. Did enough of that in my youth. I like to stargaze. I know how to fly an airplane. Once in a blue moon I dabble in poetry. I like to camp. Well basically, I like nature. I love sitting on a high mountain ridge while birds of prey float on the thermals about me.
NOTE for those requesting to be friends: I REALLY appreciate the “friend” requests. I’m not thumbing my nose at you by not accepting. I just don’t like those kind of features. I prefer a totally open forum. Besides, I get a kick out of having “no confirmed friends”. :)

In complete honesty, I did not realize how many people would not see the joke for it's simplicity as all I was trying to do was point out the ridiculousness in name-calling that seems to be prevalent here. There was no malice it, whether people choose to believe that or not.
It simply proves that I am very thankful for having the ability to speak my opinion.

I have several watches that I've purchased over the years, most are from the 1800's, a few from the early 1900's, and one from the late 1700's. I will keep that in mind if I ever decide to sell any of them. There is a man at the Raleigh Flea Market that sells them, he is inside the first building on the left as you pull in. He is located right across from the fudge maker. He also sells old wrist watches and can repair just about any watch. But if you have to get a Rolex repaired or serviced take it to Denny Godwin at Jolly's, he is the very best with a Rolex.

I told him he deserved it. After having time to consider it, he agreed.
I use mine when my ankles are bad (they frequently slip out of socket). I always feel guilty b/c to the general public, I don't 'look' handicapped, especially if I'm wearing long pants. But when I'm having bad days, just the act of walking is very painful or impossible.

While this isn’t a true statement, it certainly seems to be the dominant philosophy followed by those that claim Christianity. When you can’t tell the difference between a Christian and an atheist, or even a bad person, what’s the point in claiming you’re a Christian, other than social status? While some lament that the woes of society are because of the separation of church and state, I believe the problem lies in the above philosophy instead.

This unprovoked attack came on his/her blog, after having the gall to whine about “God, Jesus, morals, and all around decent living”. By the “SFB” is an abbreviation for a vulgarity (i.e. #@$& for brains). After this attack, he/she blocked me from responding (typical hypocrite).
Looks like another fake Christian has been exposed. GOLO is teaming with them.

Guilty as charged. I guess my little world before GOLO was just that...I do not have alot of personal friends that I associate with outside of family (and the most of them believe the way I do) I have met a few on here that I consider friends and socialize somewhat with. I do care...dont ask me why...and if your opinion of me is that...I am not doing something right. I know you are a persona that I will probably never meet...but believe it or not...i have always cared what people thought of me and I do not want to be that nasty person. You know..I think stepping back from here (golo) would solve my problems, altogether.

Everyone kind of cares what others think of them, whether they admit it or not. The question is does it matter? I’ve been demonized out here because of my religious, philosophical, and political beliefs. But I’m a nice guy. While I don’t believe in gods, you’d never know that to talk to me. I’m nicer, and more “Christian” than any of the GOLO-Christians. I don’t lie, I’m honest. I help people. Yet there are those that hate me with all their heart out here, all because I exposed their lies, hypocrisy, or didn’t agree with something they said. But how they feel about me doesn’t change who I really am.
Step back and be yourself. Don’t just go along with hateful people if you’re not like that. Take them to task for what they do!
I’ve got more to say, but it feels like I’m talking to myself on my own profile. :)
