About me
I don’t lie, and I despise hypocrisy. I’m very patriotic and believe in following the Constitution. I live by the Golden Rule of treating others as I would want them to treat me.
While I was born and raised as a Christian, I’ve seen the light and realize religion is a farce. While there are some exceptions, most so-called Christians I’ve encountered are hypocrites and frauds. That seems especially true on GOLO. I do not believe that Vishnu, Amon-Ra, Poseidon, Thor, Jehovah, or any of the THOUSANDS of other gods are real. They are all man-made, nothing more than fictional spooks in the sky. Prayer doesn’t work. Bottom line is that there is no God. Sorry.
By the way, I’m pro-gun, pro-military, pro-Constitution, pro-death penalty, pro-democracy, and pro-“nuking” any country’s tail that messes with the United States of America. I’m slightly left of center with my political views, mostly because of my support of the United States Constitution and the related civil/human rights. I vote for both Democrats and Republicans.
I’m a firearm enthusiast. Use to hunt in my youth, but no longer have a desire for it. I do my hunting at Food Lion. I still like shooting. I ride motorcycles. I’ve been riding over 20 years. I drive a ski boat. While I do fish every now and then, I practice catch and release. Nothing wrong with keeping fish, I’m just too lazy to clean them. Did enough of that in my youth. I like to stargaze. I know how to fly an airplane. Once in a blue moon I dabble in poetry. I like to camp. Well basically, I like nature. I love sitting on a high mountain ridge while birds of prey float on the thermals about me.
NOTE for those requesting to be friends: I REALLY appreciate the “friend” requests. I’m not thumbing my nose at you by not accepting. I just don’t like those kind of features. I prefer a totally open forum. Besides, I get a kick out of having “no confirmed friends”. :)

You can “argue” with emotion all you want, that doesn’t change the legal facts. Doesn’t matter if it’s your business, or someone else’s business, or who makes the money. Doesn’t matter if you make money. Doesn’t matter if you teach the class, or someone else. Doesn’t matter if you give out free guns and lessons or whatever. The bottom line is that the blog was a solicitation for business and is against the Terms of Service (as they are written). That’s simple fact. Even Angela came up with OTHER reasons to let it remain, rather than just judging it for what it was.
And if someone else wants to advertise a business, they could use it as precedence against Angela. The smart thing, given her position, would have been for her not to comment on it unless someone had filed a complaint.

Although irrelevant, I thought you also sold ammunition and targets, and rented guns for the class? Plus by hosting the course, it’s free advertisement for the shop for future customers. Still doesn’t matter. I could post a blog advertising Time Warner Cable, which I have nothing to do with, and that would STILL be against the terms of service.

It seems that Angela calls the shots. Yes, it was a preemptive strike, but she was wrong with her assessment. I’ve dealt with “terms of service” issues before (with software). What it legally says, versus what someone thinks it means, are often different. If someone wanted to challenge her on it (probably by going to her manager), say someone who got their blog zapped before, her comments set a precedence for allowing business solicitations. The comment you referenced was just a nasty personal swipe at someone with a grudge. Angela should have stayed out of it. But given the extreme unlikelihood of someone actually challenging her on it, it’s all probably moot.
Bottom line from your perspective is that you only need Angela’s approval. :)

the police report I read, from the officer in question, said he arrived, climed the stairs, then noticed the neighbor who called the police and was talking to her. When he turned around he saw gates behind the glass door, knocked, got 2 sentences out, then took all the racist comments

Well, I wasn’t afraid of the truth, but apparently he was! I posted on his profile showing where he initiated the personal attacks, he continued in them, and the posts he claimed were missing were actually still in that other blog (thus proving I WAS being honest about the chronology). In other words, his dishonesty, deceit, and falsehoods were exposed.
His response? He promptly deleted the posts and evidence! I’ve always known he likes to argue and disagree with me, often trying to divert the discussion to irrelevant tangents. But I never knew he would stoop to dishonesty. Oh well, this is GOLO after all.

I had a doc's appt. and had to leave but since you replied to my comment I'd like to say I too believe he probably tried to get her out and couldn't or was too drunk to get her out. She probably could have panicked and drowned since they say the car wasn't wrecked but just ran off the road into the water.
She doesn’t deserve to die for fornication/adultery, but God will cast you into hell for it.I never think anyone deserves to die unless they are some convicted murderer to the punishment. IMO it is a fact that a life style can put you in a higher risk of dying. That life choice is your to make, so in a way someone can contribute to their death. Had she chose not to ride with a drunk man she would also be alive. As far as God's punishment I am not God and I don't know how or if he will judge her to hell for that. I personally don't think so

It was in the 1960s, in a small southern town, and I was still a kid riding with my dad in the car. Saw a black dude running from a white cop. Cop shoots the black dude to get him to stop. Cop then pulls a knife out of his own pocket and sticks it in the black dude’s hand. Don’t know the name of either player, or when it exactly happened, or even the exact location other than town. My dad tried to push me down in the car when the cop pulled the gun. This kind of stuff happened back then, and it happens now (i.e. Rampart Division, LAPD).
Are you insinuating I’m a liar? Only dishonest sacks of GOLO garbage do that.
