About me
I don’t lie, and I despise hypocrisy. I’m very patriotic and believe in following the Constitution. I live by the Golden Rule of treating others as I would want them to treat me.
While I was born and raised as a Christian, I’ve seen the light and realize religion is a farce. While there are some exceptions, most so-called Christians I’ve encountered are hypocrites and frauds. That seems especially true on GOLO. I do not believe that Vishnu, Amon-Ra, Poseidon, Thor, Jehovah, or any of the THOUSANDS of other gods are real. They are all man-made, nothing more than fictional spooks in the sky. Prayer doesn’t work. Bottom line is that there is no God. Sorry.
By the way, I’m pro-gun, pro-military, pro-Constitution, pro-death penalty, pro-democracy, and pro-“nuking” any country’s tail that messes with the United States of America. I’m slightly left of center with my political views, mostly because of my support of the United States Constitution and the related civil/human rights. I vote for both Democrats and Republicans.
I’m a firearm enthusiast. Use to hunt in my youth, but no longer have a desire for it. I do my hunting at Food Lion. I still like shooting. I ride motorcycles. I’ve been riding over 20 years. I drive a ski boat. While I do fish every now and then, I practice catch and release. Nothing wrong with keeping fish, I’m just too lazy to clean them. Did enough of that in my youth. I like to stargaze. I know how to fly an airplane. Once in a blue moon I dabble in poetry. I like to camp. Well basically, I like nature. I love sitting on a high mountain ridge while birds of prey float on the thermals about me.
NOTE for those requesting to be friends: I REALLY appreciate the “friend” requests. I’m not thumbing my nose at you by not accepting. I just don’t like those kind of features. I prefer a totally open forum. Besides, I get a kick out of having “no confirmed friends”. :)

Then you haven’t been paying attention! :) Actually, I do attack, but it’s a defensive attack, or there’s history (i.e. I’ve been attacked in the past). I live by the golden rule.

I do this for several reasons. One is to keep a history. I’ve learned that WRAL doesn’t keep things around. Others will also delete things. Secondly, it’s evidence/proof of my claims/statements. I’ve found that the bad people will lie and deny. Thirdly, I’m blocked from commenting on some blogs/profiles.

She just can't see how she contributes to all the problems out here. She created another blog last night about all these issues and she left out anything related to her behavior. It is amazing that she is allowed to say the things she does with not so much as a warning.

On forums where you have unstable people, and nut jobs (like those that profess Christianity but show they are more likely demon possessed), it’s best to at least make a minimal effort to be incognito. Crazy people will harass you, try to contact your work, etc. It’s already happened to several out here, which is probably why the majority don’t use their real names or publish their emails.
Still visiting my profile, eh? I guess the someone that “cares” is YOU! Yet not a SINGLE word about Jesus, yet. Just insults and name calling. Like I said, you’re nothing but a fraud. You can always tell the fakers by their actions.

It just seesm to me that there are a lot of atheists 'campainging' lately. Since 'there is no god', I am curious as to the continual evangelical approach most atheists take. Makes one wonder who the target audience is for these 'messages'.

That’s one area that I differ from most other atheists on GOLO. I believe if you really believe in God and the bible, you SHOULD be proselytizing. Maybe it’s my knowledge of the bible, or the fact that I was raised Pentecostal that makes me feel this way.

Yes, there have been more atheist blogs lately. Still a minority, but I see it as a good trend. It brings more balance.

Maybe it’s similar to, “since there is no global warming”, why do opponents keep talking about it. And as other atheists out here have stated, religion can be a fascinating topic for discussion. God and religion permeates American society, so naturally people on both sides of the aisle want to talk about it.

I have been away for a while and I would like you to know that the nasty things that were said to you by my profile was not me. I have never treated you unkindly even though we strongly disagree. The nasty things were said by my daughter as a n act of vengeance because she knows how much GOLO means to me and how I treasure the relationships here. I can not apologize for her but I will apologize to you personally (and I have posted a blog publically) stating my sincere regrets and irresponsibility. I am sorry for whatever trouble this has caused you. I do not think you are a liar, coward or any of the other things that were said to you by her. I have taken steps to ensure this will never happen again..peace?

I wish for that on a daily basis, about all sorts of topics. Too many folks hide behind the internet and make comments that they cannot defend. They would be destroyed in an actual face to face debate.
Which is why I don't post that often, even though I read through GOLO quite a bit. (Plus, I find that you or Morsdeus have usually already made the exact point I would have made.) But sometimes I just can't keep it in and have to ask people to explain themselves!

You can say what you want but you have always jumped religious blog on here and spewed your same rhetoric, which can't be proven either.. As least I have an open mind and try to learn from others. But even if it's so it will not change MY BELIEF. My belief is mine alone to keep and it's unbreakable. But that should not worry you or anyone else in my opinion. I missed those. I have tried to study and even again just watched the history channel on the neanderthals survival today. I had no science back ground except the required year, but I was always inquisitive and wanted to learn new things. Astrology is my second passion. Some christians try to say that is a sin but I don't let other's judge me. I'm bad enough judging myself. Do you know a good evolution book that could help me from the beginning of how scientists say man got here. I would read it.People would flip out if they knew my belief of God could very well be from another planet of the universe doing advanced technology. I've said this would account for a virgin being pregnant. I've had christians condemn me for questioning things written in bible. So I guess I get it from both side.
