About me
I don’t lie, and I despise hypocrisy. I’m very patriotic and believe in following the Constitution. I live by the Golden Rule of treating others as I would want them to treat me.
While I was born and raised as a Christian, I’ve seen the light and realize religion is a farce. While there are some exceptions, most so-called Christians I’ve encountered are hypocrites and frauds. That seems especially true on GOLO. I do not believe that Vishnu, Amon-Ra, Poseidon, Thor, Jehovah, or any of the THOUSANDS of other gods are real. They are all man-made, nothing more than fictional spooks in the sky. Prayer doesn’t work. Bottom line is that there is no God. Sorry.
By the way, I’m pro-gun, pro-military, pro-Constitution, pro-death penalty, pro-democracy, and pro-“nuking” any country’s tail that messes with the United States of America. I’m slightly left of center with my political views, mostly because of my support of the United States Constitution and the related civil/human rights. I vote for both Democrats and Republicans.
I’m a firearm enthusiast. Use to hunt in my youth, but no longer have a desire for it. I do my hunting at Food Lion. I still like shooting. I ride motorcycles. I’ve been riding over 20 years. I drive a ski boat. While I do fish every now and then, I practice catch and release. Nothing wrong with keeping fish, I’m just too lazy to clean them. Did enough of that in my youth. I like to stargaze. I know how to fly an airplane. Once in a blue moon I dabble in poetry. I like to camp. Well basically, I like nature. I love sitting on a high mountain ridge while birds of prey float on the thermals about me.
NOTE for those requesting to be friends: I REALLY appreciate the “friend” requests. I’m not thumbing my nose at you by not accepting. I just don’t like those kind of features. I prefer a totally open forum. Besides, I get a kick out of having “no confirmed friends”. :)

I remember doing a report on that in elementary school. I'm glad you didn't drink the Kool-aid! lol Wasn't that the one??? No...wait...that was Hale-Bop? Anyway, the people poisoned themselves so they could ride the tail of the commet...WHAT?
Religion, and wars over religion, will be the downfall of mankind. I don't know why people don't understand this. Just believe what you believe, have faith in it and don't push your beliefs on others. All religions can coincide if we would stop trying to force "others" onto "ours."
My step-son is a UNC fan, it's not MY fault but that's what he is. We are State fans in this house and somehow when my step-son comes to visit we all get along. (With a lot of ribbing on both sides.)

The thing most mis-understood about tmed is how funny she is. Really. Instead of getting upset at her blogs and opinions read what she writes in the comments. She has zingers for both sides. I don't know how many times I have cracked-up over something she wrote. Ya'll be good to each other.

Yep, Tmedlin trashed McCain left and right. Then when he was the only one, she acted like it had never happened. When I reminded her that she bashed him, she called me a liar. When I posted her ACTUAL QUOTES showing she bashed McCain (thus proving she was lying), she blocked me. She actually can be intelligent and funny at times, but deep down she’s bad and has a dark soul. She just can’t help being mean and nasty as it seems to be her nature.
I’m a NC State fan since that’s my school.
Yep, Comet Hale-Bopp was Heaven’s Gate’s ticket out of this world. :)

It doesn’t tear me up because if I cared enough I’d just start a mindless counter-blog like some do. But there is good reason not to like the deletions and blocks. As we’ve seen, GOLO has it share of liars, distorters, false rumor spreaders, and hate mongers. When one is trying to lie and distort, it’s usually much more affective if you can counter those lies and distortions at the source, which is the original blog. We’ve also seen that most of the blocking and deleting is not done in honesty, but rather to keep the truth being told, or to hide disagreements, or squash counter ideas.

Very true. People can block and delete whoever they want if that’s their desire. They can tell the truth, or lie through their teeth. They can say whatever they want (GOLO Censor 3000 willing). And they can squash the speech of others.
I however, will never block, delete, run, or hide. I don’t make people check their 1st Amendment right at the blog door before entering. And I think those that do show a certain level of cowardice in regards to open debate and discussion.

Since you're not a believer, you don't care one iota about the Bible as a whole, or taking things in context. But from a believer, the answer is there and I have given it to you. Seems this piece of lying garbage is falsely calling me a stalker again, though indirectly. No, just because people document the lies and hypocrisy of loons like tmedlin doesn’t mean they are stalkers. It means they have experience with liars and hypocrites on the Internet and know to document what they say because they will deny it.
That’s why tmedlin blocks me. She lied about trashing McCain and had a conniption fit when I actually posted her EXACT WORDS, that showed her trashing McCain. I proved she was a liar for ALL to see. Liars HATE that! :)
