about lightfoot3
About me
I don’t lie, and I despise hypocrisy. I’m very patriotic and believe in following the Constitution. I live by the Golden Rule of treating others as I would want them to treat me.
While I was born and raised as a Christian, I’ve seen the light and realize religion is a farce. While there are some exceptions, most so-called Christians I’ve encountered are hypocrites and frauds. That seems especially true on GOLO. I do not believe that Vishnu, Amon-Ra, Poseidon, Thor, Jehovah, or any of the THOUSANDS of other gods are real. They are all man-made, nothing more than fictional spooks in the sky. Prayer doesn’t work. Bottom line is that there is no God. Sorry.
By the way, I’m pro-gun, pro-military, pro-Constitution, pro-death penalty, pro-democracy, and pro-“nuking” any country’s tail that messes with the United States of America. I’m slightly left of center with my political views, mostly because of my support of the United States Constitution and the related civil/human rights. I vote for both Democrats and Republicans.
I’m a firearm enthusiast. Use to hunt in my youth, but no longer have a desire for it. I do my hunting at Food Lion. I still like shooting. I ride motorcycles. I’ve been riding over 20 years. I drive a ski boat. While I do fish every now and then, I practice catch and release. Nothing wrong with keeping fish, I’m just too lazy to clean them. Did enough of that in my youth. I like to stargaze. I know how to fly an airplane. Once in a blue moon I dabble in poetry. I like to camp. Well basically, I like nature. I love sitting on a high mountain ridge while birds of prey float on the thermals about me.
NOTE for those requesting to be friends: I REALLY appreciate the “friend” requests. I’m not thumbing my nose at you by not accepting. I just don’t like those kind of features. I prefer a totally open forum. Besides, I get a kick out of having “no confirmed friends”. :)
However, I have been considering it...

Hmm, I seem to remember some VERY hateful comments about Chelsea Clinton’s looks out here on GOLO by the right wing hate mongers. I guess if the daughter of a political candidate is a Democrat it’s okay to trash them.

“Thanks lightfoot. And now we have an admission of just how close the leftist Democrats have moved towards the official Nazi policies while they still submit that Nazis were right on the political spectrum.” - Steve Crisp
Given I had not commented on this blog previous to this comment, nor am I a leftist Democrat, nor have I even commented on Nazi policies, once AGAIN Steve Crisp is PROVEN to be a liar. Lying is his nature, as shown time and time again on GOLO.

“Of course, when you bother to actually understand the theology behind those beliefs rather than some cretins interpretation of them...” - Steve Crisp
I was raised in a Pentecostal church that was literally founded, built, and pastored by my family. I’m VASTLY more acquainted with it than some hypocritical “Christian” frauds who MIGHT have read a book on it once.

And not a word in Lightfoot's posts claiming you said anything about a mandate. He said: "you said somethign to the effect that women should be at home taking care of family rather than in the worksplace."
You said: "It should be her duty to remain out of the workforce in order to properly fulfill those responsibilities or raising children properly."
Other than "woman" vs. "mother" how does his summary of your stance vary from yours?

Nothing. Given I qualified “woman” with family, I was basically talking about mothers. There is no difference. Steve Crisp has REPEATEDLY made sexist and disparaging remarks about women that choose to enter the work place. He’s a known and proven liar/hypocrite.

“As I recall, you said somethign to the effect that women should be at home taking care of family rather than in the worksplace.” - Lightfoot3
Now here’s Steve Crisp’s PUBLIC statement:
“A mother (not just "woman", but a mother) has the responsibility to remain the caretaker of the household she has voluntarily chosen to form. It should be her duty to remain out of the workforce in order to properly fulfill those responsibilities or raising children properly. Not a word in there about mandating mothers stay at home.” – Steve Crisp
Looks like I was right. And given that Republican VP choice Sarah Palin has minor kids at home, a mentally handicapped baby, a minor unmarried teenager that’s knocked up, his lack of criticism of her not staying home demonstrates Crisp’s blatant hypocrisy yet AGAIN.

Come on, Lightfoot. Atheists LOVE to see Christians fail. Maybe that is because they think Christians think they are better than everyone else. Maybe it helps them feel better about some deep-seated insecurity they have from being atheist, and believing that when they die they are just dirt.
Whatever the case, you know atheists (especially the ones on Golo) LOVE to see a Christian trip up. But most Christians admit we are just people and no different than non-Christians, just forgiven.

Ever seen a sunset or a mountaintop? Or the birth of a child? Of course Christians don't try to prove the existence of God. They're not supposed to. God wants people to come to him on faith. If He wanted to prove something, He could come to the sky with all His angels and prove it Himself.
I have a proof of sorts for you. It just proves what is required to be an atheist. Follow this logic:
1) We exist. 2) We are made of cells. Cells have intelligence and purpose. 3) Since there is at least one cell in the world, there had to a FIRST cell at some point in time. 4) Before the first cell, there existed matter with no intelligence or purpose. 5) That matter became the first cell somehow, some way.

I just like to point out the leap of faith that atheists have to make to be the "believers" that they are. (Never mind that they also believe that nothing exploded and became everything...)
Yet they somehow find it amusing to believe an all-powerful being created our universe.
I just think that's funny.

I’m not sure I’d call cells intelligent, but that’s irrelevant.
Personally I think that intelligence is just a matter of chemistry and electricity (or some form of it). No “leap of faith” needed for me.

While there is nothing wrong with me, is there anything that can be done to stop tmedlin’s blatant lies and hypocrisy? All I did was post HER OWN COMMENTS, without commentary, and she flipped out. What a loon! Of course she previously denied those comments, so that might be part of the problem. Liars like tmedlin never like being so publicly exposed. Kind of like roaches scattering when the light turns on.

Wow, you haven’t used the hate mongering technique of picking on my user name in quiet a while. Pathetic, but expected. Again, all I did was post YOUR comment, and again you launch an attack. Still lying? Still denying you said those things about McCain?
“Mccain was NOT my candidate in the primaries - everyone knows that,” – tmedlin
So why lie about your comments? Why deny them? Were your comments lies to begin with because you hated McCain so much? How were they “true” then, but magically they are not true now? Flipping and a’flopping!

“So, no, Baarack. In 40 days we will NOT have a new person “responsible for dealing with this mess.”” – posted by tmedlin, copying from Warner Todd Huston
Only the stupid, the ignorant, and the hate mongers think this is what Obama meant when he said, “the American people need to hear from the person who, in approximately 40 days, will be responsible for dealing with this mess.”
Any INTELLIGENT person knows he meant that America will decide on the person, not that the person LITERALLY becomes president at that moment. To portray it any other way is INTENTIONAL dishonesty.

“My stalker repeats my negative comments about McCain during the primaries, because he was certainly NOT my first choice, as if that means I should be voting for Obama!” - tmedlin
You claimed I was a liar for claiming you said those things!!! Are you finally confessing that YOU are the liar? So, those were YOUR negative comments and I was NOT lying!!!
No, I don’t stalk you. That’s a typical lie you started after I joking accused you of stalking Hillary with all your hate blogs. But the fact of the matter wasn’t that McCain wasn’t your first choice, but you ACTIVELY ATTACKED McCain, listing reason after reason why he should NOT be president. Those reasons didn’t magically change when he got the nomination. You’re just ignoring them now because of hypocrisy.

I’m assuming this is directed at me given her previous attacks of calling me a stalker, and her previously trying to spread a false rumor that I was molested by a pastor. Pure and utter trash! She's a KNOWN and PROVEN liar. Just documenting the GOLO garbage.

But how does that change all the negative things and bashing this moonbat previously did in trying to paint McCain as unfit for the presidency?
“The person I thought would be best didn't run.” – tmedlin
And now this moonbat has to eat crow because of her hate blogs, that she of course LIED about, DENIED, and said I was liar when I called her on it. Pure trash.
“I had to be careful how I worded that, or my little psycho stalker would be misquoting me” - tmedlin
I’m quoting the moonbat WORD FOR WORD. Is she trying to lie her way out yet again?

I've come to that conclusion as well. She has her congenial moments, but disagree with her on her issues and she gets nasty very quickly. She was insinuating that I'm gay yesterday, and she's still convinced (and tries to convince others) that I'm some other poster from way back.
Most of what I do with her is just tweaking her nose in order to get her to reveal the ugliness that's underneath the veneer. She's pretty easy to do that with, as she'll eagerly take the bait every time.

The thing I will never understand is why they can't accept it is possible for someone to look at the two candidates and make a decision different than the one they make. It isn't good enough for them to vote for their candidate, they have to belittle those they don't agree with. Just don't understand that logic at all.

This idiot addressed a comment to me, then BLOCKED me to keep me from responding!!! Oh, well. Clearly an agenda here, but regarding how Obama can claim Christianity:
“true lightfoot...I am questioning where his convictions come from.” - jointheir
Oh, I’m sure he rationalizes it in some fashion, just like everyone else does that claims to be a Christian. The drunkards, the liars, the fornicators, etc. Look at the GOLO “Christians” that spew vile and ugly comments and attack people all the time, yet still claim to be a Christian. I’m sure they too have rationalized their unchristian behavior in some fashion. At the extreme level, it’s how a suicide bomber operates.
