Love taking pics of the Great Grandbaby, as y'all can tell...lol I also have a 2 yr. old yellow Lab that Elizabeth just loves to play with. Elizabeth is now 8 months old and is moving along with her stand up walker. She is a brave little girl and pulls herself up on anything that does not move. She would rather walk than crawl, and gets up some speed too when she crawls... YES I am a proud Great Grandma, and love every minute of it...The new pic is me and Elizabeth and her first look at a flowereing tree. She loves being outside..so do I...

As I said, that's the liberal interpretation, a die-hard by-zeus Southerner probably would not consider it for anyone who wasn't born here.
One side of my family has been in southern Virginia since the 1660's, and the Bahama, Rougemont and Durham areas since the 1700's. That should make me a die-hard Southernern, but my wife is from upstate NY, so that shoots that whole theory.
And remember, NC is the only sane part of the nation. The farther you get from here, the nuttier they get. Consider California.
In fact, we're heading for Ohio this weekend and will be listening to some good music!
