I am recently married 4/17/09. My husband has just deployed for a year to Iraq. Praying for his safe return. He is an amazing man and I am so very proud of him. I am usually pretty quite. I say what I mean, and mean what I say. I love making people smile. I will be the first one to say Im sorry if I did something I shouldnt. I have a great BIG heart.

Thanks for the compliment. Everything I say, eh, type is from the heart and mind or the way I feel about something at the moment. I guess I can't be more genuine than I am now. Ask any of my friends of 36 years, I'm sure they will tell the same. When I changed schools after 4th grade, that's when I really started cherishing the 'new' friends I got then, now. That's how I can keep up how long my longest friendships are. Can you imagine having friends that long and they still love you for you? LOL LOL And I love them for them! There is never any guarantee in anything. But you have to figure out a way to absolutely minimize any issue that will result in you losing even one single bill. Keep trying.

Thats what I am hoping for. I lost my dad in 91 to lung cancer, its an aweful way to go. Keep me posted on your progress, we'll be each others support team.

think of it this way - by the time you complete the program of pills, your habits will have already changed - ALOT has to do with habits.........smoke while on the phone, smoke after dinner, smoke with a cup of coffee, or beer -- you get the picture!

Alot of the problem is that we have forgotten what we used to do with stress BEFORE we started to smoke!!! Also, a friend of mine said she cut a straw the size of a cigarette and when she needed something to do with her hands or needed to "feel" like she was smoking she "puffed" on her straw! It gave her the extra oxygen to get through the withdrawal and also satisfied the "need" of holding it between her fingers! She said it looked strange, but it helped ALOT!

hey wheat, do your best to not even think about it! every time i felt something i just threw it out of my mind. go find something as a distraction. try exercising. go outside and take some deep breaths. well that's enough for now, let me know if ya need any more!!LOL HANG IN THERE!!!

I will probably be working this weekend, so I will have to make up the weekend later!! LOL Thank goodness, this only come twice a year....once in April and once in October!! Wouldn't it be nice if Christmas came twice a year? LOL LOL

Well, Lisa, breaking a habit is like being a Christian. You will have good days and you will have bad. You give in to the temptations and you learn to accept what has happened and you come out a better person. We learn as we go along. Each day becomes better and better. Hey...if your kid needs help with homework, I'd be more than glad to assist. The only problem is a time delay in when you post a question and I get back to it. This medium is not conducive to timely communicaion. But if it involves something like a paper, and you can give me a day's notice, I will be more than glad to hunt down citations for you.

There are things online that some of the neighborhood kids have told me about where the local schools have teachers on line in the evenings and you can ask them questions. It may be just a local thing with Wake County or just certain high schools, but you may want to see if such a program is available in our area. And if it not, you may want to suggest it to the school board or your child's school.

Good Friday morning, Lisa!! My Boss' plans for me is to work tomorrow from 10 until ? to get through tax returns. I don't know about Sunday yet, but that is the plans. hmmm.... fun or interesting... let me see.... um... well, I went on an adventure walk back into the woods and found an old cemetery that was completely grown over with weeds, briars, and poison. It was totally cool though. I found some that went as far back as 1848. Perfect Halloween fun!

hey wheat! how are you? i had some urges today for the first time in a long time. i think it's because my friend smokes and out of habit i was used to doing it while we were together. i stopped the chantix about a month ago. i am happy to say it's been over five months now. no, it's not always easy but. oh so worth it. i hope you are happy and well. :)

I know. I have never watered my lawn as I have to pay for water, but, I rather have water to wash clothes, bathe and drink than to have the prettiest lawn on the block. People have their own views and I know if I spent a lot of money on my lawn, I may water it. But, since I haven't, I can do without watering it and have the water for my most important issues! I don't even think that 50 inches of water would be a cure-all for this situation. I hope your day is going well. Mine is! I think my hair can relax, too!! LOL Take care and peace to you.

Well, you can expect Olivia to go through a 'mourning' period. It happens to all mothers and canines are no exception. Fortunately, the milk will dry up over time. I am so sorry to read of this. Bear with her and love her during this time of bereavement. I know you do.
