Oh you are lucky because he is just 4...but then again has 3 teenage sisters so hears more then he should at times. Wise beyond his years.

don't be ashamed, it's funny.

Awwwwwww Sarge!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, I've got my own office and I've ran myself out before. The good side of that is that people are afraid to come into my office.

That just means you get to share.

"And they're usually VERY surprised (or even skeptical) to hear me say I'm for the separation of church and state, or against school-lead prayer. I admit some (many?) Christians can be that way, but that doesn't mean all of us are!"

Yep, we agree on Christianity. And people do make a lot of judgments about us! (And there I thought WE were supposedly the judgmental ones... Silly me!)

I'm trying to convince Christians that just because Christianity is being forced out of government doesn't necessarily mean it is under attack. It is arguably too involved with government as it is. I just don't like Uncle Sam doing the churches' job.

Hey Dan! Thanks for the email. How is your week starting off?

What makes you think we don't worry about that last one? I, for one, FEAR it! ;-) Yacs

ROFL.I dont have to worry about that anymore,my husband doesnt either.ROFL

Mornin...not going to be on much this week? Hmmm, waiting for that call...lol. Have a great Tuesday.

Good morning, Yacs, about ready to jump over that Wednesday hump and skid towards the weekend? I am.

Ooh, well in that case, the direct opposite of my earlier message! And welcome back.

/* Leans to one side, lets one rip at work. */ Yacs

Um, Speechless.....

Mornin! Great...no more calls. Sounds like the Bains know their stuff, and I'm glad you are willing to share. Hope you have a great Thursday.

Ain't serious!

"Wrt #18, I especially hate it when the offending car has been parked and left unmanned, but the stereo is left blasting with the windows down while the driver is either pumping gas or buying something in the adjacent convenience store. Just once, I wish I could summon up the nerve to walk over, reach in, and turn the thing off. Has anyone out there ever tried this? If so, you are my hero"

My father, who lives in Oklahoma informed one of my sisters boyfriends that if he could hear his music over the TV he would shoot the speakers out. The boyfriend was either stupid or just didn't believe him which is just beyond stupid. Anyway he pulls in the drive one evening, left the car running with the stereo blasting. Dad walked out and shot the speakers.

huh. I really thought the "Beano" crack was funnier.

Oh well. Live and learn.

It was, but the "Lefty" remark was subtler.

"Great story! If your dad's ever in town, will he come to the gas station with me?"

If he did you would want a flack vest.

"Yac is just multi-talented, he can do anything."

I do believe that

Good Friday Morning! Hope you don't be too swamped today!

I often fantasize about sitting on my deck and shooting the stereo's of cars that drive by real slow with them crancked up.

You guit!

Yacs can't make it this afternoon sorry. Have nice time.

"Dan" Bain was an unqualified success in a number of sports, not the least of which was hockey. He first joined the Winnipeg Victorias in 1895 after reading an advertisement in a local newspaper soliciting new players.

He remained in the Manitoba capital for eight seasons and played a rather large role on one of hockey's first great teams. During this time, the muscular Bain provided scoring, playmaking and a physical presence to two Stanley Cup championship squads. Along with his great skills on ice, he was blessed with natural leadership qualities.

Bain's extraordinary career in sports was recognized when he was chosen Canada's outstanding athlete of the last half of the 19th century. He's a member of the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame and Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame and was one of the initial 12 players selected to the Hockey Hall of Fame when it was founded in 1945.

Go Dan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning.

/* Lolly reads down */

Wow, comedy and sports...you are amazing...;D

Hey Yacs, have a great Sunday.

lay it on me. I'm going to bed in about 5 minutes.

You serious about voting for Hillary before John?

Shoot. It's already been five minutes, I just noticed.

yacs - If Hillary is elected, she runs in to the same problem her husband did - a democrat congress. She gets nothing done. The domcrats won't pass amnesty - it's not their issue. They'll raise taxes, of course, an increase the give aways, but that's about it. HRC will not be the first woman president to lose a war, so there won't be any withdrawl from Iraq. The republican minority in the congress will stop any major "country killers" from getting through.

If McCain gets elected, we're screwed. By "we", I mean both the rpub party and the country.

He can't get a a republican agenda through congress. His record of "reaching across the aisle" has been to accomplish DEMOCRAT legislation. He has never been able to convince democrats to support conservative legislation.

SO what get's through? Carbon tax, tax increase, amnesty . . .suicide pills for the republican party. The democrats will rubberstamp all his liberal agenda items, and when the tab has to be paid, they will point at McCain.

We won't have another republican president or republican congress for decades if McCain is elected.

Wow, I never thought about her not wanting to "lose the war" -- that's an interesting strategy.

So, it sounds like you're saying there's not much of a threat there if she's elected. What do you think is the threat with McCain?

Heh. Ignore that last question. You were already answering it as I typed. Let me read, then get back to you.

I'm not just some ticked off conservative ranting when it comes to this stuff.

John McCain is a disaster waiting to happen. He is our Jimmy Carter.

Or, more likely than not, our McGovern.

Oh, an I'm sick and tired of this idea he is "solid" on national security. He wants to close Gitmo, ban agressive interogation and give Geneva Convention rights to war criminals who are clearly excluded. He is Dick Durbin in drag on national security.

Wow. That is some solid logic, OS. So you're coming at it in defense of the party -- minimize the damage, that sort of thing.

I'm a selfish voter -- don't belong to a party, just vote for the person who is best for my situation. I don't want to pay more taxes and I don't want to move closer to socialism, so McCain will be the lesser of two evils this year, I suspect.

But that really was a first-rate bit of analysis; thanks for answering.

"I'm not just some ticked off conservative ranting when it comes to this stuff."

Never crossed my mind, at least, not with you. With a couple of the pundits, I thought, "Yeah, right" when I heard it, but I understand the logic now. Thanks again for clarifying; I'd been getting more and more curious the more I heard Conservatives say that.

Your Jimmy Carter - that's funny stuff!

Btw, why do you think the Republicans let this happen? Is it Huckabee's fault? Would Romney have been a "savior" for the party? Do you think it's the backlash of disgruntled Republicans? I know Bush has ticked off some, but I never believed it was so many that it could affect the Primaries this way.

And yet it does feel like there's been a leftward shift on both sides - the Republicans field a Moderate, the Democrats field a Socialist....

"Doesn't that produce its own form of adhesive?"

Shhhhh....don't disclose my trade secrets...

Yacs, I was just teasing!!!!! I am happy to get your newsletter whenever you are able to send it.

yacs - The republican party has always had a broad spectrum of beliefs: from middle of the road to far right. RR brought them all together and even pulled some dems into the fold.

But there has always been a battle for the soul of the party and a steady erosion of the reagan coalition has been the result. We have finally reached a point where there is no single conservative leader in the party and the blueblood moderates have taken control.

"Joker, It's scary you and I think a like. Orenthawl James"

A-haaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! Yacs

?

Moi? Up to something? Nah, just keeping a low profile for a little while. ;) Enjoy you Monday!

That was a schrew up on my part Dan. I meant to post it on your profile my friend! I hope you have a great day my friend!!!

BTW I found it at CWx website.

Goes back to my "accusation" Friday. Yacs

What, that I am him?

Good morning, Yacs, okay, just so long as we have that straight.

So where T F is my newsletter?????? ;-)

The Siamese are my inside cats, although I really don't know if I own them or vise versa. There are three of those, and 7 outside cats. They are feral, but we have tamed them and gotten them fixed. Sweet cats.

"As well as something else...."

What chu talkin bout, Willis?? Can I get a hint?

Yacs, you are going to keep me up tonight worrying now!! (Just kidding.) (Kind of.)

Haha, I see it now. You are funny, Yacs! I might elect to swat you just a little at lunch though for posterity's sake.
