No, the analogy is fine. No one (not even us nasty Libs) want Socialism here. It wouldn't work here, just as it hasn't worked in other countries. Socialism is something conservations whine about when they have nothing else to fuss about, but I don't know anyone who wants it here. :)

I'm usually courteous unless I'm talking to someone who bashes our current president for no reason. :)
Everyone is b*tChin and moanin' about Obama but they fail to see the big picture. If you bought a run down "fixer upper" home, you're going to have to put some money into it. To me, that is what Obama is doing. He inherited a house that the previous owner didn't keep up. Now we get to pay for that.
Lame tea parties and carp like that aren't going to fix this country. Putting money back into the economy WILL. I work in an industry that has been directly affected by the stimulus package. That combined with interest rate cuts have made my desk overflow with work. Of course, the people whining about spending don't want to hear that. I can remember to the MONTH when my work load lessened. Now I see it turning around.
Anyway, enough of that. I have coffee to drink. Fondly, Gucci

I get what you are saying, but my entire point is that there won't ever be a time in the U.S. where people who are living off of the government, via welfare, food stamps, etc, actually have more than the majority of those who are working. Sure there will always be someone who works for min wage and has less than the welfare queen down the street, but in general, it won't happen.
