If I could find it, we have a tape that you would enjoy. It's the winning entries to the 1990 Canadian Film Board for the category of animated short films (read cartoons). It has a great variety of stuff, and 95% of it is appropriate for kids. It's hilarious. I should start looking for it.

It was released after SF, in 1972, but was composed of outtakes and tracks laid down beginning in 1968 through 1972, so artistically, it arguably came before SF.
The first album comprised entirely of material composed after the band's exodus from Klein and the UK was "Goats Head Soup," which began the long period of decadence and excess that we've come to identify with the Stones of the 70s through today.
That's my $0.02 worth anyway.

I like them, but I stop a little short of putting the "Messiahs of Music" crown on them that many other people feel that they deserve. They did some innovative things and some pedestrian ones as well. All in all, I consider them a very listenable band with an enjoyable sound that's stood the test of time exceedingly well.

I'd enjoy that. I lived in the UK for a number of years in the 1960s, so I got to experience it from a slightly different perspective. It was a unique time, that's putting it mildly.
