Sounds like an interesting read... :-) sign me up.

No the one I posted you about is the cartoon...so much better!!! I live one I forget why I did not care for it as much.

Was putting up some Christmas decorations on the front porch. I went inside for a while. When I came back out on the porch, I heard something in the leaves just in front of my house (about 25-30 feet). I couldn't see what it was because the streetlight in front of my house was casting too much glare and shadow. But my spidy sense was tingling so I lifted up my shirt to reveal my S&W 915 and switched off the safety with a loud, audible CLICK. The "something" started moving toward the ditch and road, but I still couldn't see anything because of glare and shadow. I followed slowly, going to the front of my garage, staying behind my vehicles parked in front. I was expecting to see a dog or some other animal. What I saw was a PERSON. He continued up the road a bit, then cut behind the house next to me. I lost sight of him in the dark.

We both liked pheasants. That's cool

Paula

Man, it would be awesome to see one in the wild! The one I saw was a male, and so beautiful it was breathtaking. I hear they're pretty tasty too, but I don't think I could ever kill something so beautiful.

I think it gets better, that's why you don't remember. :) And I'd agree they stop after you leave, but think that's just the morning thing. When I went back after Turkey day, he was still krunky and no fun the rest of the night. However, we didn't have any problems for Halloween. Go figure. I have one song 'Santa Clause is coming to Town'...LOL Do I win, and if so, what exactly am I winning?

Hey Dan, hope everything is going your way!

check it out dan... someone else likes little house too... not that you do or anything ;)

I used to read King all of the time, then I got into some of his Bachman time period. I guess The Stand is still my favorite. Especially the complete unabridged edition. Check out the Thomas Covington books for good fantasy. I thought they wer like a dark version of LOTR. I hated to come to the end of them. My X and kids used to love the Wheel of Time series but I've never got into them, esp now since the author died in the middle of the last book. Wow. Now that's a cliffhanger.

I told you the character's name rather than the author...Stephen R. Donaldson.,The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever is the first trilogy, and then the second came along. If you can find these in hardback, jump on them as they're book's you'll want to re-read and pass along to friends. I got so deep into these I caught myself slowing down as I neared the end cause I didn't want to stop reading them.
