Having grown up in Britain, I can tell you there are places that you would not want to say out loud that Scots and English are so alike! Good points, as usual.

True, but if you look in Europe, the more powerful nations were made up of those areas that had many smaller ethnic groups under one banner. The UK. The Netherlands. And later the Germans.
Good post. I don't disagree with you, btw, just make a little more effort to not come off as quite so absolute on the matter.

Regarding the likelihood of victimization by multiple-offenders, what many here are calling "groups of thugs", according to the DOJ in 2006 whites were victims of violent crime by a group of black assailants eight times more than blacks were victimized by a group of white assailants.
In fact, groups of black assailants preferred a white victim to a black by 12%. That is, there were 12% more black group on white crimes than there were black group on black crimes.
http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/pub/pdf/cvus06.pdf table 48.
To continue with the analysis, in the single offender category, whites were a victim of violent crime at the hands of a black offender six times more than blacks were the victims of violent crime at the hands of a single white offender.
An interesting side note: single black offenders preferred black victims by just 12%.

This is only half of the equation. This data, I presume from NC SCHS, must be viewed with population demographics. From the same source, last years whites were 68% of the population, blacks 22%, Hispanic 7%. Critical thinkers should be able to calculate the fertility rates of these groups and realize:
1) There is only one group that is under-represented in births - whites.
2) Hispanics are reproducing at a rate of three times the white rate.
I, myself, haven't calculated the fertility rate of rabbits in NC, but its clear which group is closest.
The sheriff was in the wrong. He is supposed to smile and be quite while whites are displaced in the US.

I like your way of thinking. If we could only perform a post natal abortions on quite a few of the fine citizens of our community, the world would be a better place.
