It's time for a profile update!! I am 23 years old I enjoy talking with others about topics I feel strongly about. I am engaged to the love of my life, we have been together since high school and we have a 5 year old son together. I enjoy Golo for the most part but I TRY and avoid the drama :)

Hey, well good luck!! I absolutely love it here!! The traffic is minimal compared to raleigh, the crime is comparitvely low, and the shopping is good. I hope you enjoy your move as much as I have enjoyed it here.

You're off to a good start. Eating out is the worst for you. Even if you try to be good, it's still loaded with salt. Take it one step at a time. If you try to do everything at once, you won't want to stick with it. Try cutting out 1 bad food every week. Pretty soon you won't miss it.

Hey Renee - it has been a while! I am glad that things are going smoothly for you.

I guess I am at the "letting go and let them make their own decisions" point in my daughter's life. She will graduate in May and then start working - she will not do grad school or law school. When her fiance comes back from Iraq, they will get married this year. I kind of doubt whether she will ever do more school. But it is her life.... ;D

Hello! Thanks for the friend request! I have two sons, although they are not little anymore (15 and 20). Enjoy them when they are little; they grow up so fast. If he is like my older son, he probably is your little buddy. I miss those days!

Good morning, I am a firm believer that there are only a few people on here that are questionable. I have always felt like I talk to the best of what GOLO has to offer. The elite of the group. The cream of the crop. Myself included. LOL. I get tired of the race stuff and just want to be around positive people who have great energy.

I would like to think you made the cut! LOL...I moved to Raleigh. I couldnt stay in Wallace. I didnt want a factory job and there was really nothing there for someone who wanted a lot more than a country town had to offer. I go to visit my family but I wouldnt want to move back down there. I can imagine your anticipation at moving. I know when I did, I didnt look back..LOL..hope you are having a good day!

i agree with you on the factory job i worked at a factory in the office but it closed 2 years back now i work with the state but i still want to transfer out of Clinton!!! im a little nervous moving from the small town to the big city but i am going to have to get over it :) how do you like raliegh?? i am having a good day its friday and i am heading to greenville so all is well! how are things with you today

At first I was scared when I moved. I came up here and moved in with my aunt. She started stressing me. I didnt like the situation and eventually I got me a roomie and moved out. Me and the roomie thing sucked so I got my own place and have been living alone ever since. I love it. Defiently more opportunity and more room for growth here. I bring my brother up here to stay with me from time to time and he is so amazed at how I only have to drive five minutes up the street and am at the mall. Or how many food places and stores I have access too without taking a road trip..LOL. In Wallace, they still have that piggly wiggly which they have made larger. There are really no places to eat or shop. You have to go to Greenville, Jacksonville, Greensboro or wherever. I found a Mayflowers in Greenville and me and my mom and brother went there to eat on mothers day. It was about a 80 minute drive there, and 80 more minutes back. But we had a good time. The day is going. Already ready to go..LOL
