Next time it wants to install, use the "custom install" option - when it (office Advantage) shows up in the window UNCHECK the box next to is and then hit "cancel" on the bottom right (not close - that's just like a pause button - it'll come back later).
When you hit cancel it will pop a little window (dialogue box) and it will ask if you do not want to be be reminded again - select DO NOT REMIND ME AGAIN (might not be the exact wording - but you don't want be reminded so pick that option) and it "hides" that option - it may tell you that you have updates that are hidden but you can just ignore that and go on about your bidness...

The brand I had was American Products, purchased from a now defunct old fashioned hardware store. I've purchased some new from Southern States in the last year, but can't find it right now.
Follow the directions on the label. I use an Ace Hardware sprayer with a shield for close in coverage. Always spray downwind from you, avoid any vapors, etc. from skin contact.
Try to spray when it'll be dry for at least 24 hours - with 2 days or more being the ideal situation.
I mix mine up with a couple drops of Palmolive dish washing detg. It is what I had on hand at the time. The dish washing detergent helps the chemical adhere to the garlic stalks.
You'll know if it is getting to them when you start to see the tops curl up. I think mine eventually turned a little yellow, and that was about it. Most of the time I've sprayed in the early spring. This year will do the treatment in the fall.

Good Luck with the spraying. Oh, it'll kill the other stuff that's sprayed with it too, that's why I use the shield on the spray wand.
