I am doing better- went to the doc again today and she said I am healing nicely. I just want to go swimming with my little boy in his new pool and can't yet :(

I understand how you feel. I miss Studley immensely. I think Bear is getting by one day at a time. It will definitely take a long time for him. Maybe never. He was one of a kind and a wonderful friend. I look at his pictures and sometimes I can't help but get a bit weepy. =)

I remember you blogging about your pregnancy and saying your other children were older. Let me share my nieces story. She became a mother a few months after her grandchild was born, (unplanned). She was worried how they'd feel as they got older and the uncle was younger than the nephew. Later we learned as her son is now 12 they both are joking with each other with whose the oldest, almost like twins. After two girls she got that boy her husband wanted and now she's the head helper in his ball leagues and they have a special bond.

We are all doing well now...Matthew had that nasty stomach virus Friday really bad and yesterdy seem to be better...102 fever and out both sides...going around the schools it seems. I OUSTed everything to make sure no one else gets it.
I think it is time for a dip in the pool...hot as all get out...then back to the garden for a while...I am relaxing today.

I wish I had my granddaughter, who's 19, as an infant again for about one hour to hold. They are babies so short a time. Magic moments.

They found out that Levi has a severe case of GERD. He has some damage to his trachea and airways and will be medicated until he outgrows it. Thanks for thinking of us!

And, yeah, it wasn't really an award, just a small recognition. Contrary to what one or two on here think, I am a good childcare provider and it's nice to be recognized. I work hard at my job and sometimes it's a thankless one but every so often, I get a pat on the back. AnnaMarie works at the PFC,,she is such a sweetie to mention it on here. That place is a godsend, I tell you. They are such a huge help with technical assistance and trainings. I don't know what I would do without them.
