We are doing okay. Levi is sick, he has a URI...and he is being VERY clingy...and nursing nonstop. BUT, if that's what it takes for him to get better, then that's what he gets to do! (:

He's been taking a bottle from time to time and has switched between bottle & breast flawlessly, once we found a nip that he liked, anyway. He will only take the Playtex DropIns Latex Natural Nurser nip, so I'm sure he'll be fine...I just have to work really hard this coming week to get him on a feeding schedule instead of nursing him on demand...some days he nurses nearly non-stop, and they won't be able to do that at daycare.
Did you ever find out if you were having a boy or girl? Is there anything you still need??

generally, the fmla (family and medical leave act) permits dads to take up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave (with some restrictions). sometimes employers offer periods of paid leave as well. the best source of info is the hr dept wherever the dad works.

I'm glad that you're doing well. I am happy as a pig in sunshine, since the kids came home. My oldest is here on leave from Korea and we hadn't seen him in over three years. My 16 y/o lives with his dad in Nevada and came to visit over his spring break.
We're doing family portraits tonite, since we hadn't had any done since '04. I think we're past due. :)

This is such a shock about Mike. Last Saturday he called me, very upset over the passing of his dog. Then he called me Monday and he was in so much pain with his back. I get up today to the news he has passed. So very sad. He will be missed
